I have to say this video sums up why I stopped liking Charlie. She seemed to start out genuine and got so friggin nasty and catty about Amber. Like Charlie, Amber has bigger problems then the color of her cardigan at this point. She really has become the bully.

all kinds of punching down is bullying point blank period. some reaction channels hide it better than others but they're all doing the exact thing they claim to never do.

they know that they're in a social dynamic where ALR and chantal could never defend themselves. for one, they're not capable of adequately defending themselves. and two, even if they could, it would get drowned out by the rabid haydur fans. within the context of the amberverse, ALR and chantal are the lowest rung of the ladder. they have no power. they have no privilege. the only people they can exploit is themselves.

identity politics take a back seat in this case: it doesn't matter if you're a PoC, LGBTQ, disabled, etc. if you're attacking someone who can't defend themselves, for profit, for social clout, knowing full well you can get away with saying/doing just about anything, with minimal to zero social repercussions, then you're a bully. doesn't matter if you round it off with some kind words or pretending you're rooting for them. it doesn't matter if you find flimsy reasons to call them a "horrible person!" it doesn't matter if you're saying this shit "for their own good." it doesn't matter if you think their content is "toxic." it doesn't matter if you are on your own weightloss journey. it's still bullying.

and i'm not even saying this in a judgmental way because hey, this is kf, we get our jollies by pointing and laughing AT these same people. i mean, i could make an argument that we don't do it for social/financial profit since this is an anon message board (but the haydur nation is rarely interested in logical arguments anyways). so i'll just throw that idea out there and see if it sticks. if my argument still isn't sticking then one need only look at how these people respond to and treat anyone who brings this same argument up/disagrees with them/behaves in a way they disapprove of. i've yet to see any evidence of empathy. crocodile tears and bullshit acts of charity absolutely do not count. it's bullying.
