Exhibit 1 and 2 of Charlie Gold being a massive hypocrite;
Charlie Gold and a crossfit vegan woo trainer named Shane-Ashley Vega started a GoFundMe(a) because fat. Sadly, the total sought and description of the GFM were scrubbed by the creator, but one glorious facebook shitlord copy-pasted the description into the comments solely to tear it down for how ridiculous it was.
Charlie Gold was begging for money so she could go to some woo spa in Hawaii for eight months to lose weight. In addition, she and the trainer wanted money to film it as a professional documentary, and to pay Charlie's rent (lol) while she was away from home.
The woo spa in question is Vegafit Recovery, a spa that has nothing to do with weight loss. The owner is a borderline lolcow, harnessing the power of nipple stickers, psycho-acoustics and red lights to do... something. It'll make you feel better? He also shills branding consulting and graphic design on the side, because something tells me his woo clinic isn't very busy. If you'd like an example of his exceptional branding and graphic design, you can check out his Vegafit Instagram.
To sum up;
Exhibit 1: Charlie Gold refused to give Norma Williams a platform to raise awareness for her cancer GFM, but is happy to take handouts for herself because she wants to eat pineapple and talk to sea turtles and whatever else happens in Hawaii that isn't weight loss.
Exhibit 2: As of the past day or so Charlie Gold is trying to start some professional docu-series about weight loss, when not only did her first one not get off the ground, it had nothing to do with weight loss, and everything to do with an eight month paid vacation, and going viral.
And that's Charlie Gold, in a nutshell. She wants to go viral without doing anything of substance. I wouldn't be surprised if she starts up a GFM for her proposed venture.
Addressing mole rumors; there is none. The mysterious newfag is just a cool dude and a promising kiwi.
JFC. Hawaii? Seriously? "Please give me money so I can go on vacation for eight months."
The "Gofundme" is another aspect more or less like how they bullying or "critiquing" ALR/Chantel and making money off of her is fine, but when either of these women critiques them it's suddenly a crime/hate speech/bullying/bigotry, etc...
Eh, it's always struck me as them not understanding that people can and will talk shit about them too, and suddenly they have their panties in a twist because they're on the receiving end. Most of it is just noisy static and things calm down and go back to normal until the next affront.
I started out hating ALR and Chantel and they do have their faults, but for people who claim to have their shit together, they're 1000% wors just for the sheer fact that they're exploiting these obese women and pretending to be life coaches or fitness advisors or whatever instead of just admitting that they enjoy hating on others who are in the same predicament as they are.
Except a lot of the reactors are not giant lardasses, and some of them are losing or have lost weight. Only a few of them that I know of are as fat as Big Al or Chantal. I wouldn't qualify that as "1000%" worse than those two lardasses.
I also feel like it's a slippery slope because the reactors I know MBP and Zachary Michaels whenever they try to introduce something unrelated to ALR their views go down, partially because they're boring as fuck. I mean ALR is somewhat interesting cause she is a trainwreck but they're incredibly bland people... so they can never breakthrough away from the ALR reactions.
Sucks for them. But if they actually put work into developing non-Big Al/Chantal content, they'd likely get viewers who are interested in that thing, whatever it is, and not focusing so much on those to landwhales, even if just via YT's weird algorithm. I say this because the only reason I found these two and all the reactors to them is by chance, because one day YT dumped a reactor vid in my recs. I'd never watched any of those reactors or the subjects of them before, nor anything really related to fatties in general or giant fatties specifically (it's also how I wound up watching MSHPL, as well). So, it is sometimes a crapshoot, and they're not going to get a ton of fallover from their regular Big Al/Chantal crowd to other content, but they could draw new viewers with some effort. But, you know, low hanging fruit and all that.
