I don't understand - relief at showing their faces? You're right, there really was nothing holding them back, and yet it's somehow a huge weight off their shoulders to be attention whores.

It's unreal how fucking basic these people are.

Apparently Egg Gorl had always worn some autistic Victorian-style Masquerade Ball mask in all her videos until like a month or two ago when she did a 'Face Reveal' video (where she revealed the 30% of her face the mask was over? I don't get it, it's like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle untying his eyeband mask to reveal his true identity) and explained that for work she custom tailors fur suits for furries to order. I guess they were relieved to do so.


As far as Katie W I'm pretty sure she's been doing self-inserts since shortly after her IRL identity got posted here. I think it's mostly just been her voice, heavily distorted. . .actually since hearing her voice in the vlog, yeah, that's definitely her voice. . .to make clips directed in a more specific way at taking the piss out of Hamber. I think I saw one or two video clips of her doing face reactions to the Hamber clips. . .I don't really pay attention to her, I watch maybe 20% of every 4th video she puts out. I've seen maybe 3 full Katie W videos in the last 2 months.

She really inserted a random Hamber 'I haven't eeeuuun anything today' clip near the end of her BFF vlog? :cringe: And she ended it with her 'Beanbag in a hurry + heavy breathing' outro? Okay, that's. . .unfortunate :(
 
Katie W. is terrified that people will think she is a fat loser just like Amber (she kind of is). She wants people to know that ShE HaS a ReAL LiFe, unlike Amber. Katie W has been doing this for awhile now, ever since she started spamming her Instagram. I remember when people would comment, "WHO ARE YOU? YOU MUST BE A HOLLYWOOD EDITING GENIUS! SO MYSTERIOUS!" And she would winky-face comment back to the comment, meanwhile I'm on her Instagram looking at some Fat Girl Angle Selfie of some basic emo chick. Go figure.

I mean, she cranks out 10 minute+ clip videos of ALR every other day. It's been pretty obvious for awhile that she has no life.

I'm fucking over it, too. Complete buzzkill. It's like telling a joke and then dissecting it to everyone because you thought they didn't understand. Amber's life is a joke, and it can speak for itself.
 
I'll play devil's advocate I guess and say this; KatieW's travelogue to Detroit video, while not my particular cup of tea, as a parody of Amber's boring ass Wommart trip videos she continually puts up, is fine. Lady wants to break up the monotony during a particularly boring recent run of big Al's video's with an indulgence of her own interests, she's made me laugh enough times since I've started watching her videos that I'm not sharpening a pitchfork to skewer her on. In fact, I'll go so far as to guess it's up there as a type of challenge to the bingemonster to get her stuff on that level or at least try and crawl up towards it. Of course her Amber video recaps are better, she's going for an exposed jugular tenaciously during them and she's got good instincts about editing pace in her mind's eye that makes stuff sizzle visually when she does her thing well, but that is not the POV she's going to deploy on her own interests/journey's vlogs, which is why it plays pretty dull by comparison to the others. However, I can understand the reason why that is and won't get bent out of shape over it.
 
Katie W isn't perfect, no one is. She's done shit I don't like in the past, like remember when she would use lots of screamo clips in her videos? I don't particularly like the new voiceovers, either. But I'm not giving up on her just yet.
