I like that they reeeee-d about hiking having abilism. Yeah, if you can't go up stairs, hiking the Appalachian Trail is probably not for you.
 
Camping is white? Come out to a big West Coast city and look under the interstates. You'll find that camping has entered the diverse mainstream, with people of all mental abilities and colors joining together to set up tents and create impromptu communities!

They want them to destroy the ecosystem and install landwhale ramps and fatty scooter paths. Then they wouldn't use them anyway.
 
You should always take fat people with you in the wilderness. That way when a rampaging bear comes to eat you, you'll be able to outrun the fatty easily and not feel bad that you had to trip them and murder them. Its just natural selection.

Though not one of the strong fats that looks fat but is like 90% muscle. They'll probably headlock the bear and choke it to death and then beat you to death with its corpse.

Oh boy, the thought of this thread ever becoming "plagued" or even "diseased" makes me cringe a little. Lets hope, that never happens.

They complain that three out of four people who engage in outdoor activities are white. The US is about 73% white.

Do these people even math?

There's actually a state park in my area that has one handicapped trail. It's a paved trail along the bottom of a ravine, but there's also a non-handicapped trail that braches off and goes up and along the ravine edge. It's not a particularly long trail, but where it is in respect to roads and such makes it possible.

Doing it to every trail in the park would be impossible. You'd need elevators.

No, because equality means 50/50, not proportional to population. They are stupid as fuck. Not to mention the concept of 'ableisim'. It doesn't even fucking exist. There's only 'normal' and 'disabled'. If you are too fucking fat, that's on you. Nobody has to bend over backwards for your stupid fat ass.

I'm tried of bending over for people like I'm supposed to give a fuck. I'm done. I'll reserve my compassion for people who need it.
 
Jesus. Oh noes, someone can't do some leisure activity! What next, vacations are oppressive, because not everyone can afford to go to the beach/travel to Europe/go on a cruise, etc.
There's always going to be some activity that's going to be unavailable to some people. That's just how it is in life. It's not a deliberate attempt to oppress anyone.

That's maybe true if you're counting some of the Mexicans and Puerto Ricans as white, which I don't think these people would do. Otherwise, it's about 62%.
