Every time I read a bizzare article there I google the author. A lot of them are drag queen singers and the like.

One of them was from some angry disabled black woman who had a tantrum anytime someone talked to her about doing something on foot. Another was a gender queer black woman who was angry at a waiter calling her "madam" saying it was misgendering.

I think it would be great if there could be a neutral word instead of "sir/madam" for inter-sex type people ..like "boss" or something, but it's hardly fair to blame an individual waiter for the fact that this doesn't exist in culture.

Well someone's already come up with Mx (pronounced mix) for a neutral Mr/Mrs, so who knows, maybe that'll come normal soon.

hehe, the writer of that article is already listed under former contributors. That was quick. Their 'Meet the Team' section is a treasure trove of weirdos. It's basically a Kiwi's fever dream come to life.

I clicked on that link and got an offer to enroll in a class that would teach me how to heal from "toxic whiteness." Are we sure this isn't a satire site?

Someone from here has to find some way to get into that and record it.

Also people who do identify as non binary never actually make the effort to look androgynous so you can't blame the poor waiters and store clerks who already have to deal with so much shittiness everyday for "misgendering." Most people have never heard of nonbinary, gender fluid, gender queer, whatever the fuck these snowflakes claim to be. (And it doesn't help that they don't exist in reality either.)
I feel bad for that waiter as well as anyone else who works in customer service jobs who has to put up with stupidity or else they lose their jobs.

I'm taking one for the team and registered for that. If someone could help me with finding a way to screen capture it I'd appreciate it.

Eta: in the confirmation email it says EF will be emailing everyone a recording of the workshop. How nice of them to make it easy.

To be fair, I've often used "madam" as a mock-respectful way of calling someone a whore.

Godspeed patriot. :jace:

This is amazing.
Kiwi challenge: guess how many bios you'll read before someone uses special pronouns!
I guessed three, but I was wrong.

While I was looking at the authors, I decided to check out Justin Hubbell's comic, Orcs Vs Feminism. It's an autobiographical comic that includes his massive obsession with Orcs, struggles with feminism and being an annoying fuck. If you look at the comics before the arc, you'll see how different he was as a person then compared to his new feminist genderqueer personality (after the arc). Granted, he was still spewing SJW talking points. Though his earlier work had surreal stuff and things that weren't always about identity politics.

And the funny thing is those that actually do pull off the genderless thing really don't fucking care what you call them if you're not "in the know." They don't even correct you, they just go through the entire interaction like a fucking normal human being.

-I guess it makes for a failproof system for detecting Dumblrinas.

According to Banned by Everyday Feminism, the site has already shut down one of its articles, "20 Ways to Help Your Employees Struggling with Food Insecurity and Hunger." So in a way, it banned itself.

Slightly off topic, but I'm glad you mentioned that site -- I love it. It's cracking me up. And I found an article that claims artificial insemination of farm animals is rape. Oh, EF never stop bringing the lulz.

(Note: I am NOT saying that conditions of factory farming are okay. It is a legit issue. But sexual assault? Rape culture? FFS)

Factory farming does rub me the wrong way, EF did find a way to make it annoying.

Edit:
Why is it that some of these generqueers look so butt-ugly?
