There's a restaurant here in Pittsburgh called the Conflict Kitchen, which serves food from various countries that the U.S. is in well, conflict with. Is it a little SJWish? Maybe. But it's not like, "oh you should feel guilty for not eating ethnic food!" More like, an opportunity to educate people. And hey, good food is good food, right? (Their menu sounds pretty damned good)

Well, they decided to serve Palestinian food at one point and all hell broke loose. They were accused of being anti-semites, and that it was hate speech to offer something from Palestinian culture. They even had to close for a few days after getting death threats.
That's weird because SJWs tend to love Palestine and HATE the Jews

SJ is eating itself yet again. Someone wrote an idiotic (as usual) article for EF and quite a few people on twitter have been railing against it because....WAAAH

TL,DR: Person (fuckingwhitemale??) writes usual EverydayFeminism piece of random list of how to combat random oppression because. People point out that (granted, they're not completely wrong) people should be paid a living wage but of course they completely ignore any grey areas: the "boss" might not be directly responsible for wages, people might be living above their means in other areas (high rent etc.) but sperg out about it anyway.

Ooh, little miss social justice doesn't even know the difference between Sikhs and Muslims, hint - Sikhs wear turbans and hand out food, Muslims don't and hand out bombs.

And EF published this blitheringly offensive stupidity. Do they even have editors or is it just one of those free for alls like Huffington Post where they give blogs out to random morons?

My favorite part was about how these "black and brown owned restaurants" can't take things like noise level and service into consideration. If you can't manage basic customer service you need to just fucking close your doors now. I don't care how good the food is in a restaurant, if I get treated like garbage by the staff, I won't go again.

But, oh, those terrible racist Yelp and Zagat standards, expecting restaurants to put forth an effort when it comes to their business. Don't they know that's a white person thing and that precious POCs can do no wrong, especially when it comes to food service?

This. Also, "white" food? Is there such a thing as "white" food? Isn't it a bit, well, engaging in erasure to lump all white ethnicities and culinary traditions together? Ditto all Asian ethnicities and culinary traditions together? Why, some of the worst incidences of racial violence have been against people for being the "wrong" white (Forced deportations and labour in Eastern Europe in WWII), the "wrong" Asia (Rape of Nanking, comfort women), or the "wrong" African (genocide in Rwanda, genocide in Darfur.)

I sometimes think that The Mary Sue and Everyday Feminism put out these articles for the lulz. That they are in fact trolling but most Tumblrinas and SJW twitter users think they're actually serious.

At least one guy actually did this, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are others at outlets like this who are taking the piss. It's not really funny now, though, because this shit is beyond parody.

EF seems to get insulted when you suggest that people have to be polite, professional and considerate to those lower on the progressive stack.

There's something really off putting about the way they write their """articles""". I know, not a groundbreaking observation, but seriously, even when they write about reasonable stuff e.g. not putting up with a controlling partner they sound like whiny teens. They could write a piece about "8 reasons why it's wrong to piss into someone's drink" and still come off as narcissist psycho weirdos somehow.

It's the way they use cracked structure for articles which is weird. Pretty much everything is a bullet point with some elaboration. Even the shitty comics follow this structure. It's almost like they've got no actual writting ability or their target audience is really thick.

According to Banned by Everyday Feminism, the site has already shut down one of its articles, "20 Ways to Help Your Employees Struggling with Food Insecurity and Hunger." So in a way, it banned itself.
hehe, the writer of that article is already listed under former contributors. That was quick. Their 'Meet the Team' section is a treasure trove of weirdos. It's basically a Kiwi's fever dream come to life.
