Having skimmed the article, their points seem to be as follows:
1. People care more about animals than they do about black people, and something something devaluation of life. They're basically complaining that more people cared about Cecil the Lion than they did Black Lives Matter.
2. They bring up the actually valid point that being vegan can be expensive. Of course they have to call it 'classism' and bring up "systemic barriers that might prohibit someone from being a vegan or vegetarian." Again, blah blah other people are poor you monster.
3. Apparently animal rights has something to do with colonization oh no, a bad scary thing the whites do! because some cultures have a tradition of eating certain meats for things and telling people its wrong to eat any kind of meat is colonizing their culture or some shit.
4. Personal favorite point of mine, vegans offend tranny people because, and I quote, "[The author has] seen a lot of adverts and signs over the years declaring that being vegan is feminist, and that the animal industry is built on the exploitation of the 'female reproductive system' -- thereby making it an issue that all women should resonate with."
And of course this completely erases tranny people, non-binary people, female penises, male vaginas, blah blah I hate life and everyone in it, whatever.
