Catroller does some great videos. As someone who has never played a fighting game outside of at an barcade once or twice, the breakdown of the matches is impeccible. I can see why so many people get frustrated with his excuses based off of the way he plays. Also shoutout to the "Bubbles" clip included where Phil lets the mask fall off about his audience.

catroller makes pretty fun and robust content. if you just listen to the noises coming off his stick when he plays fighting games and watch the gameplay its pretty obvious hes mashing and is actually right when he says his move didn't come out because he's trying to do like 3 moves simultaneously

But if you click in one of the videos that appear in that archive, it says that it's private, when it should say that the video is down due to the account being terminated for copyright infringement.

So unless I'm making a mistake, I'm assuming that the accounts were at some point linked in some way, or that they transferred videos from one another. I don't think you can merge accounts, and I'm not aware of videos with the same ID on different accounts even if not at the same time.

I'm clearly missing something and now I'm curious, I haven't played enough with linking Youtube accounts/data. Freaking Quora users are giving contradictory answers to support.

Alright, I think it's a channel transfer but I haven't attempted that yet, @KingjadVCMP do you know if it was done like this?
I guess I can also try it myself later.
 
First Catroller privated all of his videos, and now the 0utsyder's channel is down? Man, DSP is on a fucking warpath this month.
 
Funnily enough even my tiny, semi-active Youtube channel got copyright struck, because I had a few DSP clips on there. Because of that, all of my accounts got deleted.

RIP my nigga Catroller, he made some really great stuff and would totally be under fair use if Jewtube didn't have a shit copyright system.

Also why is he or his dents going after them? These clips and tractor channels are the only thing keeping Piggy even marginally relevant.

because they believe the story that phil told them that the only reason he has to beg so much is because tractors ruined his life. he said people were emailing him behind the scenes about how much he's begging and he hates when he has to beg so much. i guess some dents decided to take maters into their own hands.

This has pros and cons of course. If enough channels really do get taken down, then Phil's videos will essentially pop up in the search algorithm more often (in the short term at least) and he'd no longer be drowned out by the flooding of uploads of people like SnortHogan, Doody and other similar clippers, so yeah he will get more ad revenue compared to what he used to I suppose, so congrats dent the business is saved.

However at the same time, trolls/hate watchers are a huge part of his audience, whether Phil admits it or not (he basically did when he told the channels to stahp striking each other because "you need me" to make content) and if more and more vanish that's less eyes on Phil, which means less views overall, also meaning fewer troll tips, his pool of contributions will get smaller and smaller, it would actually cause him to ramp up his begging more, in contrast to how he would say "if the trolls would leave me alone for a year, then I wouldn't have to beg anymore".
 
So anyway, given the current climate of detractor heads rolling, I figured what we need to even out the losses is MORE DETRACTOR CHANNELS. Phil is fucking unwatchable without a filter, so I decided I'd try to edit down some of his stuff. Hot off the editing bay, TIHYDP: Re4R. So far, it's just the village, still working on the rest. Phil's boring as hell to watch in his glorious, uncut entirety, and out of 12 hours of gameplay I got around two hours and a half of golddusty content. I plan to trim down further in the next chapters. The ratio of actual khantent to stalling is around 20% by my estimate.

I gained a whole new level of appreciation for the dudes who went into the trenches to make these for us for all these years, I'll say that much. Phil's unedited stuff is really inconvenient to comb over for the good bits.


TL;DR: If you want to watch Phil's playthrough of Re4R and save your sanity and a significant chunk of your time, I got you. The playthrough was mercilessly stalled and mostly sulky gamerfaced when it should have been raged at. Phil fucking hated it and you can see him seethe at many of the harder fights.

Really good effort there droob I hope you keep at it.

Watching this a few thing about Phils playthrough came to mind.

He seems to be "afraid" of initiating combat and expects any NPC to carry the fight. (We see this in a lot of other games as well).

He for real seems to think that if something isn't in his field of view it is supposed to despawn and he doesn't seem to be able to track much more than one enemy at the time even if right in front of him.

Almost every time he was in the inventory he would crouch, this is again him tradgripping the controller and this get's worse when the game stresses him out.
("My move didn't come out/I didn't want to do that").
 
Shinko spoke about this whole situation.
While I respect the arguments behind it and the principles- clippers in question put up privated streams I cannot agree.

It is what it is.
Still a well structured argued video.
