I'm still really on the fence about Dr. Blob. He certainly is an entertaining lolcow when rants and raves about how he has fucked up again and it's everybody else's fault and the Bible says you aren't allowed to plant wheat and badgershit in the same field and that means everybody else sucks and should give them free stuff and by the way you are all under arrest. But at other times he is just so fucking sad. Sitting in that cluttered trailer day after day, a couple of dollars away from bankruptcy, both their bodies pretty much rotting while they're still alive, desperately trying to prop up his self respect with his so called ministry and bullshit degrees, which I somehow feel he knows deep down are bullshit. He has none of ChrisChan's joie de vivre. Frankly I'm a bit afraid that he is one setback away from self-harm.

His book shipped and I really can not wait. I'm hoping there's some more information about Rene and I'm REALLY hoping for that story @Mister Moo referenced in one of his posts about the putting pressure and what got him into the crisis response stuff. I'm also really looking forward to the stories about our hero that he claims are in there.

This is the second time this week he's preached the bit about the adulteress woman.

I got a giggle over him being upset that the troll didn't put Dr. or Rev. on the letter, despite him knowing it was fake.

I like that he got halfway into that story, realized "oh shit, this story is supposed to be about realizing that it's wrong to call out other people for their sins when you have sins of your own!" and had to figure out a way to spin it so that he could still justify calling his trolls sinners. You can actually point out the moment where this dawns on him and he splutters and hesitates before he tries to backtrack.

If this thread gets enough exposure, it might make his book the literary equivalent of CWC's Etsy creations, and actually bring in a lil' pocket-change for Pastor Slob.

I actually debated buying it used for that reason, but $14 vs $60.. maybe Dr. Blob will use that money to buy himself a clue
 
I feel sorry for his local pastors. I imagine he probably LOVES picking fights with them or interrupting sermons to talk about "why haven't we donated money to ME lately??".

I have a strong feeling he's been barred from a few.

That really seemed to be the part he was the most upset about. The lack of respect for his fake, self-imposed titles.
