Wow! It's kinda scary, how much acuity he's lost in just over a calendar year. He only filmed this last September, and he seems much (well, somewhat) sharper mentally. (Autism Papers at 7:50)

Bob is not safe living with himself. This guy is an emotionally unstable time bomb waiting to go off.

He needs Rene for 2 reasons:

1.) Someone to control.
2.) Her SSI check.

Unfortunately, Rene doesn't have enough marbles to figure that out.

Bob keeps her well-medicated and spends her SSI check.

Neither Bob nor Renee have the mental capacity to live alone much less together. We already know that her lungs are being screwed because they are failing to keep her CPAP machine in a clean manner, the house is a disaster area as is their wreck of an auto. Renee needs to be moved into some sort of assistive monitored livimg situation and separated from Bob. Bob needs to have someone give him a "come to Jesus" moment where they explain: his doctor degree isn't worth shit, he needs to stop wearing the damn badge cause it means literally nothing, his medical condition isn't great and he's just not so smart. Of course, this would be all part of a Christmas Miracle which ain't happening. :(

Why does he feel like posting "proof" that she 's sick? No one is doubting that.
 
Because:

A: he knows no one believes a word that comes out of his mouth. He thinks any shred of 'proof, ie., a best attendance award from when he was 8, the best paperboy award from when he was 12, a photograph or a video, will add credibility to his completely fabricated and embellished life.

(When was the last he boasted about someone coming to his sweet ant infested crap-filled trailer for 'pastoral counseling?')

B: he's a delusional paranoid asshole who's lifetime of lying is now biting him in his fatass.

This guy can't even say Merry Christmas without finding something to complain about.

He must be a real treat to live with.

The bit about Rene might be possible but this would be a really tall order. Though I think on some level Bob knows but admitting it to himself would be such a painful bit of introspection that you can sort of understand why he'd rather cling on to all these crutches he has to prop up his sense of self worth. Sadly, as long as he keeps doing that, things will just go downhill.
