Man gets angry.

I haven't paid attention to the atheism scene in maybe nine years after I got sick of hearing retards like thunderf00t rant about women, aside from seeing Matt Dillahunty was dating a young troon pornographer last year, and it repulsed me quite thoroughly. It's weird to see how these people have jumped so high and mighty on the troon train. I got recommended a Dave video where he debated Flat Earthers a few months ago, and he came across like a child. Unsurprisingly, he made a video defending troons. And now I see that shitty animator DarkMatter2525 doing it. It's ironic you know. If these were studies about something he disagreed with he would be quick to level out the usual rhetoric, but instead he gish gallops them as a consensus and a consensus cannot feasibly be wrong for any reason. How well would he respond to the idea that some of the trans people in those studies may be happier on basis of their own ignorance? Why would that be acceptable versus Project H's viewpoint? Similarly, you could apply this to a paternalistic structure in America culture with respect to women and minorities.

When you embrace woke politics as your new religion, you will accept any aberration as "normal". These people are middle aged. It probably has roots in 90's and 2000's era Evangelical Christianity's influence in American politics. Interesting to note how "right wing/conservative atheists" are more common in Europe than the US. But taken these people's ages and likely ideological development into account... what's that Napoleon quote?

I wonder how many of those "studies" have been successfully replicated? My guess is zero.

Also, "medical science". While medicine can do amazing things, it wasn't even that long ago that they were massive over prescribing opiates on the orders from pharmaceutical companies.

Go a bit farther back and they were sticking spikes through people's heads and turning patients' frontal lobes into soup in order to treat mental illnesses.

There is a surprising lack of common sense in science.

For example: Science supports fat liberation by proving that fat shaming does not reduce obesity. Studies polling fat people found shame did not work.

Obvious problem: They only polled fat people. Those that got ashamed and lost weight are no longer fat.

Its obviously a biased research, conducted in a biased way and cherry picked by these euphorics/troons.

For example if you want to know Jesus exist, you can ascribe the criterion of multiple attestation, the believers says he is messiah, the unbelievers say he is a con man. You know he exists because you don't just ask and verify from a group that is leaning to one side.

It's beyond obvious that there's more than enough evidence to suggest that troonism is mental disorder if you step out of the western hemisphere.

They just use "science" as a tool to shut you up, if they can twist it from the bible, they will use the bible too, even if they have denounce it from their previous sentence.

You don't have to go back too far to find the likes of Matt Dillahunty and other atheist figureheads denying transgenderism. It's always been a boy's club supporting whatever woke boys are into. And if that means dressing like a woman, then it's okay.

I think it was last year when Jimmy Snow (Matt's newest BFF and a raging misogynist who became famous shitting on Christian Evangelical female YouTubers) was caught bullying trans-identified women but is constantly chanting TWAW. None of these atheist bros actually believe TWAW, they see trans-identified males for what their actual sex is and continue being misogynists.

During this time a VP from Purdue Pharma, the company behind OxyContin, was teaching med school students about a ground-breaking concept called pseudoaddiction which says that addict behavior is indistinguishable from the behavior of someone in serious pain that needs pills. Are people addicted? No, they're just pseudoaddicted and need more pills. Is there an opioid crisis? According to the people selling the pills, no, there is a pain management crisis which they are doing their best to fix. Where did the concept of pseudoaddiction come from, one may ask? It came from a study written by a fucking nerd who just happens to now be the Purdue VP promoting it. Trust the science.

It stretches back to the 80s with the Moral Majority too.

I'd agree that growing up from the Reagan -> W. Bush years and having that shape your worldview is probably why euphoric atheists just seem laser focused on evangelical Christians and their political involvement with the GOP.

For euphoric atheists, the only Christians that exist in the US are evangelicals that vote solidly Republican. That's it.
