We are reaching levels of retarded gaytheism previously unknown to man.

Bethlehem and Nazareth are barely 70 miles away from each other, what the fuck is this bitch on about? FFS Galilee and Judea were even ruled by the same guy at the time of Jesus's birth, Herod the Great, under the authority of Rome. They wouldn't split until Herod's death, which was explicitly after Jesus's birth.

The modern day equivalent would be like walking from Kenoshi, WI to Chicago, IL, not hopping the fucking border from Mexico into the US.

Suffah fuckyoudadists, suffah.
I see the "If those stupid knowledge-hating backwards kkkhristians didn't burn down the library of Alexandria because they hated science we'd be living in wakanda by now!" train of thought (mental retardation) is still with us. How wonderful.

He seems to referencing the leftists "documentary" 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture. Basically liberal Christians and their allies believe there's a big conspiracy that the Bible was rewritten by right-wing fundamentalists to be anti LGBT in the 1940's. Which is ironic given how historically the Abrahamic faiths have historically been strongly patriarchal, heterosexual and even skeptical of outsiders.

Now one can argue practice what you preach. If you tell others to be a good person then yourself should be an example. Like telling people not to smoke but you smoke would imply you're being hypocritical. But I digress.

I checked and saw this wasn't asked but why are euphoric atheists willing to believe in the existence of alien life and UFOs but not god despite the fact that we have as much evidence of aliens as we do with god. We have discovered around 6,000 planets outside our solar system and as of yet we have not discovered one planet that has life on it, even one that has bacteria life on it has yet to be discovered. It has gotten to the point where some have concluded that we may never know if life exists somewhere outside our universe. Even with this K2-18b discovery, most of the headlines that read "We have found life!" are mostly clickbait and are just theories on the probability of it but some have also admitted the problems with this planets atmosphere to where it might not actually have life on it. Despite the many planets that we've discovered and haven't found life on, euphoric atheists still insist that aliens exist somewhere out there and argue "Life exists on Earth so therefore it has to exist somewhere out there". Hell, even if alien life exists out there that are human like, who's to say that they don't believe in their own deities? Wouldn't this call into question as to why higher intelligence species are prone to believing in deities?

You know, as a Christian, I really ponder what would happen if we do find intelligent life. I wonder if God did send them the good word.

Contemplate A Case of Conscience by James Blish. It's about a Christian missionary who encounters a race of beings with an inherent sense of morality but yet they are not Christians, and has to wrestle with his beliefs and the actual reality he is facing.

Honestly, it would be funny if aliens believed in Jesus. Although, I do think if alien life exists that they probably believe in their own deities, which again I think would call into question why higher intelligent beings that are like humans want to believe in something that's greater than them

If aliens exist, it doesn't make a moral imposition on your life. If you believe in God, or at least most traditional versions of some kind of theism, even ancient pagans, than you would likely have to come to the conclusion that God, the gods, the Tao, or whatever it is, has a right to make demands on how you live and interact with the world. If ET shows up, who cares? He can be the coolest alien ever but you owe him nothing, except maybe common courtesy.

I just remember this goofy meme.

Why do you think the imagery we have of exoplanets rules out the existence of life on planets in the habitable zone? We just don't know. I understand why people are more inclined to believe in aliens from other planets (of which we can see a lot of) than god (who we cannot perceive). I try to give people grace because whatever your theory of existence, there is a core mystery of how existence (something) came into being from nothing in violation of all known laws of physics. nobody has an answer for that, much less how god came from nothingness or how you get something from nothing without god.

Most of Drake's Equation is just imaginary bullshit anyway. It assumes the "habitable zone" is habitable for creatures like humans. It's entirely possible there's life that occurs in places we'd never recognize as "habitable."

Politely speaking, unless it is a macro-organism with something resembling a proper ecosystem, I'd barely consider it “extraterrestrial life.” I don't give a shit if they find some specks of bacteria on a dustbowl somewhere, if it can't be seen or interacted with to any real extent it might as well be more dirt.

What if it can call you a faggot?
