I've never seen her this mad before. That was interesting.
Same here, even if I don't agree with everything she says it was refreshing.

Some things to note from that video:

-she says that she doesn't believe Jaclyn is doing this because she cares. She said Jaclyn constantly makes videos talking down about other people/being negative or hateful towards others and that she believes Jaclyn does so because she has her own issues with herself. (Only Jaclyn herself can really know if this is true but I kind of agree with Eugenia on this)
-someone donated and said they were worried/asked her to get treatment and she's now claiming she's fine and she's seeing a doctor. She had previously said that she wasn't I believe. Either she was lying before or something has changed since then.
-her mom thinks the petition is stupid. (Obviously...)
-she thinks there are other people doing worse/more harmful things online than her and thinks it's weird that Jaclyn is going after her instead of those people.
-throws a bunch of shade about Jaclyn making content that should get her age restricted too like selling sex toys and streaming while telling people to donate for her to drink wine all night.

This is definitely the most honest Eugenia has been...ever, that I can recall. She also mentions how she tries to stay positive but that when she gets honest everyone tells her she's "mask off". She said she's sure people will say that after this video but she doesn't care.

Edit: she also said Jaclyn was like the new Onison. So. There's that?

(Most of this is paraphrased obviously)

Anorexia nervosa has something like a 92% death rate if untreated. It's the deadliest mental disorder and one of the most deadly medical conditions you can have period outside of certain cancers.

Both Ashley and Eugenia will die it's just a matter of when.

Because of suicide, not because of the anorexia.

Jaclyn may be an attention whore, but you have to remember, she constantly gets requests to help EC... This is really the only other way she can do that.
She also has the choice of saying "no" and minding her own business.

She's on a roll. Finally being honest after years of her humble, unassuming uwu persona seems like it may have opened the floodgates somewhat. She's still apologizing but being upfront about the meat at least. Honestly, this may be good for her. Maybe it'll encourage her to be more honest with herself since I imagine her z snaps are cathartic after so long of stifling it all.

Also, it's way more fun for us. Agreed with someone earlier in the thread - queen bitch skelly when?

I'd love to see her go full Mean Girls, psycho Queen Bee Anachan. No holds barred, pure ana bitch.
I'm convinced this is the true EC right now underneath the sea of bullshit uwu positivity she hides behind. Would be refreshing to see her be her genuine self for once and go full meltdown.

She's bringing up a response 24h+ after it occurred and addressing it for a second time? Clearly passive-aggressive dismissal gets under her skin the most. Princess ana-chan over here must crave validation and attention above all. No wonder she reads everything about herself and stares at herself in the camera all day- the self absorption is hilarious and true snowflake behavior.

It must be interesting to be thin your whole childhood and then develop severe anorexia. Eugenia has never experienced being even the slightest bit overweight in her life, despite most people either being chubby kids/teens or gaining weight in college or adulthood. I wonder how that affects her perception of people and the human body.

She probably thinks everyone who is overweight is so pathetic compared to her, and really enjoys being the skinny qu33n when 70% of the US is overweight or obese. She likely doesn't believe her line "everyone's body is different" and takes some serious pride in never being a fatty like all those people she fake-placates. No doubt she's secretly smirking as she tells everyone not to diet because she's "naturally skinny."

internet turned brain-damaged, timid ana-chan into angry skeleton bitch.

although, i do understand her anger, jaclynn is annoying trying to be this crusader against all anas. i'm dreaming about them openly insulting each other, screeching insults and making videos... please, jaclynn, you can't leave this as it is, think of the children.

As someone who followed the whole saga, I think Jaclyn actually cares about Eugenia, otherwise she wouldn't have gone through the trouble of getting her help. And it wasn't a publicity stunt because she was completely quiet about it until Eugenia's comeback with Shane's video. She only addressed the situation because that video was wrong on so many levels. She also didn't say a word about Eugenia for months because she knew she couldn't help anymore and she preferred not to push the issue. Eugenia is just attacking her instead of Pastel Belle because she's an easier target (bigger platform, she's still bitter about the 5150, etc.) and she's specifically doing so now because she feels actually threatened by the petition.

That was actually surprising to me because she claimed in the past that she tried to stay away from "haters" but she clearly follows Jaclyn closely.

A lot of people think anorexics spend forever judging anyone fatter than them, but I can tell you that’s not the case for the vast majority.

Anorexia is an obsession and while you may have brief thoughts of “huh, damn I’m glad I’m not her” when you see an obese person in public, a lot of time is spent eyeballing people much heavier than you and secretly fretting that you’re the same size, even when it’s obvious to anyone else that you’re far thinner.

Anorexics don’t spend their time looking down their noses at others, they spend all their time obsessing over themselves and their own perceived flaws...how many calories did I eat today, can I cram in another jog after work, I ate way too much yesterday, I’m dizzy, should I risk eating this half a biscuit so I can feel less dizzy at work? this scale is broken, it says I’m lighter but I KNOW I’ve gained weight, I can feel it, I need to buy yet another scale again, all of them are inaccurate...

You don’t even really notice other people in public after a while. They just become furniture in your eyes. You can even be shown a woman who is much heavier and say, “eh, she looks fine, nothing wrong with her” and mean it. Because anorexia is only about what’s wrong and bad with you. All thoughts are constantly directed inward, into a churning pit of fear and need for control.

The rare moments of smugness usually come from thoughts of “look at how often everyone else eats every day! They don’t even need it! I function just FINE on one slice of bread and ten grapes all day! Madness how society tells us we have to eat constantly!”...and those thoughts are the fleeting, dim rewards in an otherwise dark life that revolves entirely around obsessive fear and shame.

Eating disorders are hard and bad, thanks for coming to my ted talk

Idk I don't feel like people with anorexia are entirely so innocent and self-focused. There's the anorexics that bake cakes and pastries for their coworkers and friends to try and fatten them up and enjoy watching them eat the sweets while they refrain. There's also all the reverse thinspo online, and all the people talking shit on pro-ana forums about fat people they know, how disgusting other people are when they eat certain things, or how certain models and celebrities have gained weight and how pathetic they are. All those posts about them talking about how they make sure they're the "skinniest" in every location they are, whether it's a classroom or an elevator.

I'm sure there are anorexics that don't judge others for their weight but I'm not sure if it's the majority. I doubt there's been a study done on something so specific though. I feel like focusing on your own weight so much would make you more likely to focus on the weight of everyone around you too. I really think that there's an element of greedy self-satisfaction when Eugenia tells people not to diet or try to look like her because she's "naturally" that way.

I used to lurk a popular pro-ana board, and you're absolutely correct. The superiority complex some of them have is insane.

Many of them openly gloated about being skinny in a country that's mostly overweight, and they'd slag off celebrities who visibly gained a pound.

They'd describe how great it was to sashay around the mall being super thin, while surrounded by fatties. They brutally mocked the normal weight popular girls in their high schools.

They'd describe their families eating a normal dinner as if they were disgusting fat pigs, while the super-special little ana princess was the only one strong enough to resist. If one had a sister who came home from college with the "Freshman 15", she'd celebrate that she had the self-discipline to stay underweight while her sister proved how weak willed she was.

It's so bizarre how some (many) fatties are the exact same way, when it comes to being fat. Maybe this is more common in poorer countries where being fat is a sign of status or whatever. These are the things I'ce heard fatties say about skinny and fit girls:
-bragging about being so 'curvy' and "healthy" when all the other girls look so "weak" and "sick"
-they show off how much they eat (they invariably eat like pigs) as if its a sign of "health" and "strength"
-the usual "men like curves, not skeletons!". Curves =/= looking like a landwhale
-like skellys they love to brag about how "healthy" they are and how it shows in their weight even if they are having all sorts of health issues

Do you see a pattern? It's all a display of health, wealth, fitness, and attractiveness, without really being any of these things to a sane person.

Both fatties and skellies will look at actually fit, muscular, normal-weight women and say they either look like men or too fat/too thin.

Not really.

The psychology of being a landwhale and being a Skelly are similar enough they can get sent to the same inpatient facilities for treatment.

Exactly. I know it's not really a popular opinion but that's why so many of those hambeasts say they have an eating disorder, technically they do, it's just binging without the purging. Similar rituals and feelings about food, usually some type of body dysmorphia, lifestyles that are killing them, it's all there. One is just blubber and the other is bone. That's how I've come to see it anyway.

Even if Eugenia did move out of the house and/or get help, I don't think she would ever recover. Like Pavlov's dogs, she's been taught to associate starving herself with attention and validation. It's similar to how kids who grew up in cults always end up fucked up in some way or another. Sad to say, I just don't see a happy ending for this one, in any possible outcomes.

You're contradicting yourself. If you don't care that a person is obese, why are you afraid of being their size and consider it a flaw?

Anorexia is not a true disease, like schizophrenia or wu-flu. It is a set of maladaptive behavioral patterns that are centered around a set of thoughts and beliefs. That's why the most successful treatment for it is CBT and other behavioral therapy that focus on changing those thought patterns and beliefs. A lot of anorexics will claim they don't care about others being fat, but they are either lying to look better, or lying to themselves, because not disliking fat is antithetical to the disordered thinking that is controlling their lives.
