I view it similar to addicts: I sympathize to a point, but beyond that is patronizing and not helpful. Also freakshows are neat.

Sympathy coming from the extremely high likelihood that daddy or uncle or someone diddled her for years and her immediate family is in hardcore denial. Hence the childish demeanor and weird family dynamic (which probably included saying she was lying, making it up, or deserved it).

Like based on everything, I have no doubt some variation on that story is true.

As for the inpatient treatment, I'm sure there were dozens of people at that center begging her not to leave early. Counselors, other patients from her group therapy sessions, etc. She knows whether or not her mother was truly having a heart emergency. EC is stupid, but not that stupid.

She wanted to leave treatment early, so she left.

EC loves attention whoring her bones online. She's proud to be the most famous skelly and thinspo for all the teen skellys who wish they were her.

Online streaming isn’t really an alternative for actual human interaction, especially considering that the majority of her audience are yes-men. She is pretty isolated for a woman her age when you take into account that the only people she has constant contact with is her own family, even more so now after she cut off her online friends like Jaclyn Glenn.

I think I figured out why this one freaks me out more than Ashley the lich queen. Ashley just looks like a mummy but the contrast here between the freakish thinness and youthful skin really really looks gross and weird.

It's even more jarring with all of that makeup she cakes on. She's looking like a fucked up doll from a horror movie. The other unsettling thing is her proportions. Her arms look freakishly long and her hands look huge because of how thin she is.

Her costume and asseccoires are just dangling around her body like a potato bag. It's far from flattering. You can't even tell what's going on.
 
That cosplay is unflattering as fuck because of how thin she is just dwarfs her. The Kairi one is still more infamous as it showed more skin but she cannot even really realistically cosplay because she does not even look human anymore.
