It's both. She knows and revels in people being disturbed by her physical state, but she also likely sees this revulsion as being a kind of jealousy of her being able to get to such an elite state that shows extreme determination and control. Sort of like old tribal shit like lip stretching or foot-binding.
If you ever look at pro-ana materials, a lot of it espouses the virtues of pushing past the feelings of hunger and overcoming them. It emphasizes noticing "progress" of bones becoming more prominent - most popular being hipbones, clavicles, spinal ridges - and how that is the payoff for the hard work of not eating. It also uses thinspo pictures to equate this progression of extreme thinness as gaining a kind of elegance or feminine delicateness. Keep mind that this is framed around a dumb teenage girl mindset, because it's created by dumb teenage girls who egg each other on. Literally "skinny=fragile=boys want to protect you" shit.

This is how I feel about Eugenia at this point. Her little girl voice and child-like interests and mannerisms aside, this is still a 26 year old woman. She has had Anorexia for a decade plus and several attempts have been made to get her help. At this age even despite the mental illness she has autonomy over her life. People have tried to take that from her but look how useless that ended up being. The ''If we take away her rights and lock up in a psych unit or force her into treatment she'll get better'' mentality has totally failed.
A feeding tube being inserted may help her, but she'd probably rip that out. There isn't much anyone can do for an adult woman who's chosen death.

I actually do genuinely wonder if Eugenia is on the autistic spectrum.
She has a very repetitive style of speaking and always kind of sounds like she's trying to imitate someone else. Her "Draw My Life" video points to her having obsessive interests from a young age (considering she was allegedly so into Bratz dolls that her school teachers showed some kind of concern and suggested her parents find her another hobby). It's not uncommon for multiple members of the same family to have autism (or at least some autistic traits), which checks out with the fact that her brother is apparently autistic. And research has shown that autistic women are more likely to develop eating disorders...
Might potentially explain the family situation, too. It could be that her parents' method of handling her condition/behaviours is simply to coddle, shelter and control her, either to prevent her from acting out or because they believe she's incapable of being independent. Even if Eugenia herself isn't on the spectrum, they might have developed that style of parenting via raising her autistic brother.

I really thought so too until I saw one of her videos from 2013. Her speech and articulation style was completely different (didn't seem like a person on the Autism spectrum). Also her voice its self was much stronger and deeper.

The high-pitched voice is an act. Probably the same with her demeanor. There's a video clip of her calling her mom to go upstairs. When she goes, you can hear her drop the cutsy voice.

She's still making an example of herself to either apex-girls who will bully other girls towards these beauty standards or girls who want to fit in but are socially stunted. I'd agree with you if she didn't have influence over vulnerable or influential children.
I agree that children shouldn't be online without supervision, fullstop. I agree that we shouldn't censor people for the sake of shitty children. But children are online without supervision and they're all getting ideas from the internet, from bullying their classmates over fortnite skins to forming transgender cliques. The shitty children bully the other ones into doing stuff like this. We can't act like Skeptics and try to pursue ideals the likes of not censoring anyone or at least calling out the behaviour of these people. Until we get hard-and-fast functioning legislation that takes children offline, which would probably require Real ID, the only other option that protects these kids
to any degree is calling these people out.
I've had enough family that's gone through this to have no patience for this bullshit. Children basically have no legal rights to anything, to then patch them in to the quivering nightmare-scape empyrean of all human knowledge and ideas without any kind of buffer whatsoever is completely stupid.

My theory is the muscles in her diaphragm have weakened so her lungs are not as strong and neither is her voice. I don't know which video it was but you could hear heavy breathing in one of her clothing hauls as though she was having trouble catching her breath. Can you imagine if this woman catches Covid?
Her deterioration since 2013 is very sad. She had Anorexia back then too but she seemed to have her mental faculties and a personality. She has lost her ability to put together basic sentences.

If she were bulimic as well it could cause damage to her vocal chords. Now if her anorexia is to the point of limiting fluid intake as well that could affect her voice, but anorexia alone does not cause vocal damage .

Some of the comments there are pretty interesting, saying she had to ring a doorbell to be let upstairs, the lights were off and she couldn’t turn them on, and something about a bunch of weird locks in the Shane Dawson interview video. This family is mega weird, but I think it’s so normalized to her and she is so isolated that no one is ever going to know what really goes on.
As for EC being autistic, I think she can read social cues and manipulate too well for that. I think the obsessive behaviors are probably more like OCD, which is also common among anorexics. I think the”chameleon” behavior is because of whatever kind of weird shit goes on in her family that has trained her to people-please rather than develop her own solid personality.
I also think pretty much everyone else cares way more if she dies than she does. Even anorexics who aren’t as severe as her kind of live in this odd state of ambivalent indifference (as contradictory as that may sound) where it’s like you don’t actively want to die but you also don’t really want to keep living either when every day is a personal hell. She probably doesn’t have any real goals or dreams. She just wants to keep doing what she’s doing until she dies. At this point she probably feels like she has spent so much time on it without ever considering anything for the future that it would be worse if she didn’t die from her ED.

I've actually seen her in person while she was out on vacation a couple of years ago. She looks the same. By that I mean, she wore a ton of makeup, had her hair puffed, and wore shorts on an otherwise chilly day. Her legs were extremely red (her pores are huge) and they're so thin it took my brain a while to recognize them as legs instead of pegs. That seems to be what that girl's wondering, too.
There wasn't anything particularly remarkable other than the contrast between her, her tank brother, and her boulder mom. The way she caught my attention was that she was waiting alone in a bustling tourist location while looking uncomfortable and self-conscious, yet wore obnoxiously pink clothes that showed off her legs.
People made comments and stared. That's about it.

I have an addiction to following delusional lich queen like this. I would love to see one of them recover, but anorexia is egosynotic unfortunately meaning that most of those who have it see it as a positive aspect of themselves. When someone is depressed it tends to be egodystonic; people don't like feeling depressed and don't feel it is in line with who they are so they try to change it. Anorexia and bulemia tends to be a part of themselves these people like. It is really sad, but she can make changes if she wants to. But she doesn't. And she won't. Recovery becomes more difficult as time goes on and permanent damage is done. Unfortunately by the time they are that far in the body is feeding off of the brain so there is even less of a chance of having a change of heart near the end. She should follow some of the people actively trying to recover after going to far with this. If she saw how hard it is to recover with all of the permanent damage, she might take the easier route and start now. I wonder how she would feel watching people lay in bed for 3 days straight unable to move and talk about how painful even having a baby blanket touching you can be when the only muscles left are tendons ready to snap.
