The only person who truly cared about her wellbeing, more than her family does, is now out of her life for saving hers. That's the unfortunate part about this.

Edit: I've seen the debate from a page earlier and this is what I think. The important part of Jaclyn Glenn's story is that professional mental health workers who evaluated her said she was so unwell mentally and physically that she had to be institutionalized for help. That's why it was such a big deal. When they say you're that messed up, you have no say.

people who genuinely follow her are either anorexic tweens or people who frequent sites like liveleak to see accidents happen in real time.

the only thing that would 'save' eugenia is if she were deplatformed from anywhere she could show her face/body, because all the attention she gets enables her. i do not agree with deplatforming, clearly, but i'm just saying that would would be the only thing getting between her and her mom's freakshow kink.
 
I don't have time to watch the whole thing right now cause I have to leave for work in like 30 mins, will edit this and make a rundown for people who can't be bothered later if no one else does.

All I got from the first few mins is someone made a fake twitch account and donated to Eugenia under Jaclyn's name on stream, saying she was sorry for hurting her, and it was really fucking awkward. Eugenia eventually realised it was a fake account, but not before saying how her getting hospitalised/where she was sent specifically was "kinda traumatic" for her.

Girl ain't gonna get help anytime soon likely because she doesn't want to go back to a facility where they force her to eat. IMO she shouldn't have gone to a rehab facility or whatever it was she went to, she should have been hospitalised in a ward and had long term treatment and not just a feed you up program with discharge as soon as she was healthy weight wise :c
 
Why, the absolute fuck, would anyone want to help her? The kid is superficially happy and that's enough for her. She wants to starve herself to death or scarf and barf, let her at it. Maybe if enough people pointed at her and laughed she might get over herself and go away to get help. Who knows, we can just wait until she tries to battle The Lich Queen for the spoopiest skellington crown.

What the fuck had her shitbag parents been feeding her all her young life? Her anorexia is something she clearly enjoys and acknowledges, yeah, but I can’t help thinking what twisted notions she must have had planted around food and put into her head from a really young age.

Naturally thin from eating half a bag of crisps and drinking a Diet Coke every day, sure Eugenia.

Her mother and brother are pretty fat, I wouldn't be surprised if that, combined with having her family being extremely controlling of her life, contributed to using food as a way of control and then developed into anorexia. Her self image must be pretty bad.

Both children in the family have issues with food - they both use it to emotionally regulate the the strange, controlling household they live it. Food is how Chip self-soothes, and food is how Eugenia exerts some control of her own self from under her mother's thumb. Starving herself might also be how she avoids her father's, uh, unusual affection. Or, it might be how she gets attention from him when he's often absent for work.

Either way, their home life gave both of them issues around food. And as long as they both continue to live there as adults, they always will.
 
I don't like Jaclyn Glen all that much, as far as her content is concerned...

That said, I really feel for her on a human level in this situation. I can't imagine losing a friend in that way only to watch her slowly kill herself again.

And then to hear Eugenia say she doesn't want to have anything to do with her.

And then to have a bunch of assholes harass her for "not doing anything" or "not caring"
 
Personally, I think she’s a victim of sexual abuse (most likely in the family) who uses anorexia as a way to feel in control of her body. There is a lot of comorbidity between eating disorders and sexual abuse (particularly incest). The cause for EDs is rarely just the desire to be thin.

Tin hat time, but I’m getting vibes that her mother encourages the eating disorder to punish Eugenia for being the object of her husbands affection. If there is abuse going on, and the mother either knows or suspects it but is unwilling to confront her husband, this could be her outlet. It’s cruel but not unheard of. It feels weird to lable this as MbP because usually the parent is eager to share about their poor baby’s struggles and getting in the spotlight. This one wants to stay out of sight.

Anyways, this situation is fucked up. She really might die. It’s awful, but there’s nothing we can do. I hope she can get away from these fuckos in her family.

The look of utter disgust on this chicks face makes me wonder what she looks like in person without all the filters and strategic lighting.

edit: There is no way Eugenia didn't notice this girl in her selfie so why didn't she crop her out?
 
She talks a lot like that Gypsy Rose Blanchard girl, all squeaky and childlike. Creepy as hell. The mother needs to be tarred and feathered.

I was honestly thinking something similar. Maybe she feels like people who comment on her body are just jelous of her beauty and she gets off on that. There are a couple pictures on her instagram where she includes some random person in the background looking at her funny. She can easily crop them out or use a different photo but she blatantly choses not to.

I think she gets off on other people being disgusted by her, and that's why she left it in.
