It’s just that she was spotted with her mother and brother at Disney, and then they talk a bit about how she’s really thin. But what blew me away were these two photos of her with Chip. I knew her brother was fat, but holy shit the guy is fucking HUGE!. I cannot fathom the depths of dysfunction in that household. Also, I’m sure Eugenia’s body language is mostly due to her knowing she’s being photographed and knowing it won’t be flattering, but it’s really noticeable the way she stays as far away from her brother as possible even when seated next to him.

I don't know much about her childhood, but I don't think it's really well known anyway. I cant help but wonder if Chip got overindulged because he's the "good kid" and Eugenia got punished by being restricted or told she's fat/greedy/etc when she eats because she's the "bad kid." I've heard that Deb is very controlling over Eugenia.

If people think her mother is a narc like people say she is, this could be believable. Typically, abusive parents arbitrarily assign these types of roles to their kids to justify their mistreatment of people.

Her legs are crossed and her legs are tiny. The right knee is more under the left leg/the left leg is crossed over that part of the knee. I hope that made sense but it's just the angle of the right leg and photo.

Anorexia can appear in people not necessarily trying to be thin, but dying for some ounce of control over their lives. She can't say no to anything (which sadly might include the brother), but at least she can say no to what enters her body. I think this is a big part of her anorexia. But seeing her brother, I think she also desperately doesn't want to look like them. It may be partially trying to look totally different from her abuser and creep of a brother, but tbh seeing her brother pork up to that extent and wanting to be pretty unlike mom could also do it. Especially as at the start, she wasn't much skinnier than your average scene queen or prince, and definitely less skeletal than some others. She was just dressing pretty and being skinny as part of the collective (disordered to be clear) desire to be as skinny as possible on MySpace and tumblr. She really went downhill as her mom re-entered her life more. Iirc when she lived alone she wasn't that bad which is why she could claim being "naturally" skinny and her drop started pretty gradually. Not saying she probably didn't have some form of anorexia before, but it probably would have been more like a typical neurotic woman trying not to be her mom in size or like all the other scene queens with fat moms with maybe additional triggers surrounding loss of control.
But at the same time, the desire to have control is imo the biggest part of her disorder. Especially now seeing as her brother looks equally fucked over by mom which lends more credence to the theory and rumours that she's abusive/controling. Especially as she is worse with mom. But now I also wonder if Mommy forced Eugenia to accept her brother's desires or ignored her concerns because Eugenia is obviously not ok with her brother despite being (seemingly) happy to share his art of her online. Wonder if Mommy made her show off the art for the brother. Or maybe with age she's realised the dynamic between her and her brother was fucked up and she is right to feel weird about naked drawings of herself by him.

@often puzzled I can’t quote you but I agree with your point regarding Eugenia and TikTok. It’s absolutely not the responsibility of a social media platform to make sure no one sees a skelly, and I personally don’t think that’s a precedent we should be okay with them setting in terms of free speech. But TikTok IS responsible for choosing to not just monetize Eugenia’s content, but to work with her as an influencer, promote her shit, invite her to their offices and to participate in their events and whatnot. She clearly has little interest in putting effort in to the platform when she’s not making money and being promoted on it, so good let’s keep it that way. They don’t need to give her the boot or censor her, but they for sure don’t need to be paying her and encouraging her further. I think I feel the same about Deathfat influencers. If they want to eat themselves to death on live stream, that’s their god given right, but platforms don’t need to be paying them to do it.

I agree that banning/censoring isn't a wise move for a social media platform, but surely they have some responsibility to ensure that the algorithms of people with eating disorders don't just transform into a tsunami of pro-ana content? TikTok algorithms of people with eating disorders were found to have delivered 4343 % more toxic ED videos than healthy controls in a recent study. Now consider the same process but for troons or islamic fundamentalists. Engagement-based algorithms have very few benefits for the regular Joe and only (massively) benefit the companies that profit from our lack of self-control.

i don't follow her too closely so i was surprised that everyone who does follow her was surprised to see the brother. has he never been caught on camera before? same question about the dad. its so frustrating that nobody who she knows in real life or who knows the family has ever come out and spilled the beans on wtf is going in that house of horrors. is there ever any friend or family member that has ever been seen on stream or out with them while livestreaming? the dynamics between EC and her mom on all the clips ive caught are so odd that i cant even picture how anyone not fully immersed in their dysfunction would vibe with them. maybe they are like the weird family in their neighborhood that never talks to anybody and nobody has ever been inside their house.
