I don't think you understand. Eugenia doesn't want any of those things. Eugenia wants to keep doing what she's been doing for years and live her life stuck in time as a tween. Her hair loss is so bad in the last picture. She looks so tired and ill. She's over 30. She's always had this pall of anorexia over her so she never self-actualized. Even if she chose to get better, it's not like, "Oh, I will get better. I'll be able to return to enjoying my work. I can do a better job of keeping in touch with friends from college. I can start looking for a life partner."
She's just missed all of these life's milestones. Do you just accept you missed out? Try to start over? Jump in where you think you should be? She has nothing except money and Disney trips. What could she possibly look forward to? What does she look forward to?
I really seriously doubt she has any desire for any of those things - getting a real job, going to college, or finding a romantic partner.
100%. She's been at this for most of her life. It would feel extremely uncomfortable for her to recover and would be really difficult to just power through. Her recovery in 2019 was surprising, but I had a feeling it wouldn't last.I think she's at a point where she wouldn't want to get better simply because, as far as she's concerned, she is nothing and knows nothing outside of her eating disorder. To get rid of that would leave her with quite the void to fill and that is terrifying.
To go from probably remaining sedentary all day, constantly feeling extremely weak, and rarely eating to doing more actual human activities, feeling energized, and still not eating enough would probably feel very intense. And by "not enough," I mean somewhere around 800-1200 calories a day. I think she would probably associate feeling energized with gaining weight or getting fat because she doesn't feel weak enough.
I wouldn't be surprised. Any attention is positive attention. Plus it probably makes her feel like a kid again to be in a Disney park. She is always at theme park for childs. Does this skelly want to trigger children by constantly exposing them to her body? I think she also wants to drag them down with her
