I remember the Medusa site And the stories on there. I think the reason why Eugenia is not as bad as those women as far as her health is because she possibly has in home care and possibly vitamin injections and nutritional infusions did to her families wealth.

Those women were often from ordinary backgrounds or low income so they died and succumbed to organ failure. A few died in hospice but most of them were found dead in their homes.

Agreed. She also has the advantage of living with her parents, who will have some sort of control whether Eugenia realises it or not.
It seems that the adult skelly who lives alone is more likely to just die. No one checking if they’re alive through the day, no one pretending not to monitor intake, and no one encouraging doctor checks or medicines.

The mother benefits from keeping Eugenia alive, so she will ensure a minimal level of health is maintained.

Honestly I’d love to know the true dynamics between her and her family.

When you have an eating disordered person in the family, sometimes it's just easy to exist and engage in the crazy little day to day issues like 400 kcals to keep the loved one alive every day, rather than tackling the big issue itself. Honestly, if you're playing for time, it can feel like the only move for a lot of families.

Rich families with women sick from self-inflicted disease are a dime a dozen.

Marfan syndrome?

This is late because I saw it just sitting in my reply to box, never posted but I thought I would throw it out here since it still applies even though late
 
Her hands look exactly how an emaciated person's hands would be expected to look.

The joints flare out a little not only because the bones are wider at the joints, but the small amount of soft tissue that's left (like the joint capsule and the cartilage) also make it appear wider. She's just lost literally all the fat and muscle. Nothing else is needed to explain it.
 
Cyrax nor Eugenia have Marfan syndrome. It's not even a possibility.

Has her brother been seen on any of her content lately? He's very morbidly obese on top of being genuinely autistic. Curious to see if anything has changed.

Her hair loss is so bad in the last picture. She looks so tired and ill. She's over 30. She's always had this pall of anorexia over her so she never self-actualized. Even if she chose to get better, it's not like, "Oh, I will get better. I'll be able to return to enjoying my work. I can do a better job of keeping in touch with friends from college. I can start looking for a life partner."

She's just missed all of these life's milestones. Do you just accept you missed out? Try to start over? Jump in where you think you should be? She has nothing except money and Disney trips. What could she possibly look forward to? What does she look forward to?
 
@LonesomeDud I forgot I grabbed these images from reddit until I read your comment just now, but someone there posted a side by side to highlight how bad her hair loss is getting and it's pretty grim. The first pic is from a year ago and the second is from a recent stream. I feel like many anorexics can coast through their 20s in denial of the damage they’re doing because youth is on their side, but once you're past 30 things go downhill fast. Eugenia is a prime example of this.

And I agree with your other points as well. I think she's at a point where she wouldn't want to get better simply because, as far as she's concerned, she is nothing and knows nothing outside of her eating disorder. To get rid of that would leave her with quite the void to fill and that is terrifying.

I would love to see her in a psych book about EDs and the dangers of social media. I'm sure there are college psych kids that wrote papers on her for a grade. I think that's the best thing she'll be only doing is being an object lesson.

I'm not going to disagree about wanting her studied, but either that's a freshman paper, standards really have dropped, or she'd just be a footnote in a research paper focusing on how/if EDs have a social media contagion factor.
 
I come bearing more horrors stolen from reddit. This one is…something else. Apparently there’s a youtube channel making AI softcore videos of Eugenia for the absolute degenerates out there. I haven’t looked it up because I care about my yt algorithm and don’t want to be on any lists, but it’s called Love Eugenia Cooney if any of you sickos want to check it out.
