i haven't looked at this girl in a while, but it seems like her fine motor skills have severely deteriorated compared to when she was "in recovery". she wasn't always that bad at doing her makeup and now it looks like she's smeared her eyeliner on with a crayola marker.

If only it was that simple. Prolonged starving will break down your body in a way that cant be undone. Especially the digestive system is fucked if it doesnt get used. Some anorexics cant eat food ever again. Theyre stuck eating a brown sludge consisting of predigested nutrients. Your heart will suffer greatly, so will the rest of your organs. Skeleton is also completely wrecked. Imagine having severe osteoporosis in your mid twenties or thirties.
Catching anorexia before it gets to a severe chronic state, you might get away without lasting consequences but a decade of severe starving? Not possible.
 
I feel like saying something nice about Eugenia. She may be a living skelington, but at least when she returns to being a dead skelington she'll be skinny. Good job Eugenia on remaining skinny. You were right not to eat the food. What if she is the sane one? I'm becoming a fucking land whale because the only food I eat is poisonous shit. I won't become pro-ana but man it'd be nice to need a jacket in the winter, or fit into crawl spaces.

.....Come on. Obviously extended periods of anorexia will cause lasting damage and some of it is irreversible. I'm not arguing that Eugenia didn't screw herself over forever. No objections there.

But I pinky promise there's more out there than "brown sludge." Easy-to-digest medical nutrition shakes are often so sweetened and artificially flavored like candies and sweets that they even attract cult followings a la Kate Farms which is a meme if you're into the Munchie thread for how much the girls idolize/shill it.

I hope some day we get more info about her parents, I know this has been said many times over but I just think it would explain a lot. I think if Eugenia moved out and did some sort of "This is What my Childhood Was Like" tell-all video, even if she didn't recover or make any attempt towards getting better in any way, she would almost certainly get tons and tons of sympathy and attention from social media. If she made a "I'm going to be the sickest uwu girl forever" video, a lot of people (a lot of teens/kids honestly) would probably stand by her..... But Eugenia has never seemed to want that variety of attention.
 
I'm not sure that even she knows what she wants at this point. I doubt she spends much time thinking about the future in a meaningful or productive way.

Those medical nutrition shakes are great for elderly people and others who suffers from malnutrition but sometimes their stomachs cant take the additives in those. The sweeteners etc fucks with their stomach and theyre left wth the sludge. The sludge Im talking about, it predigested and it smells and tastes bad. Some freeze it because it makes it go down faster. Its basically liguid aminosoup.
Is Eugenia there just yet? No probably not but anorexia is very hard to recover from even when surrounded by people who helps you. Shes living with enablers. Shell never get better. Catch anorexia early and there might be a chance for recovery but the longer theyre in the grip of the disease, the harder its gonna get and while the human body is amazing, a decade of severe malnutrition is gonna do damage. Especially if it began in puberty.
