I don't understand why she bothers with contouring. Like, her face is already slim and has the definition contouring is supposed to acheive. It probably looks like splotchy dogshit without the tiktok filters and she's better off just skipping it.
It's likely either to highlight the stark features she already has, or it's out of habit. She likes looking skeletally thin, so anything to highlight that without looking like an an endstage cancer patient (like filtering out the grey skin and gaunt sinew everywhere) so it possibly why she sticks to it.
To add onto what you said which is most definitely true in her case, there are a lot other anas who do that contour because of body dysmorphia. And if it’s not that contour it’s some other makeup to make them look sooper sick >_<
