It might be the old primal instinct of knowing they are near someone or something that has the approaching spectre of death. From some angles she could look like a freshly dead corpse save for the eyes, which still have a spark of life in them.

This is simply not true, no matter how plausible it sounds. Systematic reviews have found an association with childhood abuse in bulimia, but not convincingly in anorexia. And the numbers for childhood SA are nowhere near 50 % even for bulimia. Here’s one such review.

I'm sorry, but this disproves her posturing about how she's totally not 5'9'' she was doing a couple of years ago when that number was floating around the internet. Back then, she was claiming to be like 5'6'', but at least in my (similarly tall) experience, at that height you don't tower over people. Yes, she's wearing heels, but they are very, very slight heels. This is not what 5'6'' looks like.
Not that it matters anymore at this point because even if she were 4'8'' her weight would be too low at this point. Just goes to show that you can't trust what she tells about herself.

Studies can conflict with each other which is why so many need to be done. You didn’t misinterpret the study you read, they just both say something different. It can come down to who they sample, where they are from, ages etc it’s pretty hard to hold a completely random trial and they try their best to account for that when designing the study and relaying the data.
