I agree that ‘tea’ channels are annoying leech types, but you don’t attempt to criminally charge someone just because they’re a bit of a nuisance, lol. If the tea channels bother you to the point you think a lawsuit is appropriate, you shouldn’t watch their videos or any videos about them; that “if you don’t like it don’t watch” line that Eugenia loves to use goes both ways doesn’t it?
Eugenia is no more persecuted than any other lol/horrorcow, and persecuted is the wrong word to use here. (I guess the right word would be mean, not everyone is just a meanie to this 30 year old little girl, as you can see in the heartfelt comments I shared
). IMO she deserves every bit of criticism she gets, as long as she continues to put herself out there with content that basically begs to be shit on. And that’s what I think she primarily gets, criticism, weary eyes, worried moms, then of course she gets the same hateful trolls that every other dumb controversy-addicted youtuber gets. The difference is, Eugenia calls much more attention to those KYS type comments than any other public figure I’ve seen. The pity party never ends with her. Also, tea channels are not the ones saying mean shit like that. The youtubers who *dare* to cover Eugenia are always tame in comparison to others.
Forgive me because I didn’t watch the video yet, but what is with this overuse of the word bullying? Belle did not bully Eugenia from what I have seen, and yes I have watched Belle’s videos about her (I know..). From what I’ve seen, Belle criticized Eugenia by bringing up the points most bystanders will bring up. Belle is a typical tea channel who will latch onto what is popular, there’s nothing unique or particularly malicious about her coverage of Eugenia. Eugenia (despite her comparing her internet plight to the persecution of Jesus, yes Eugenia made this comparison, I think the Love Eugenia Cooney channel has it archived) can obviously handle the hate she gets, she seeks it out for fuck’s sake. If mean comments shook her so much, I doubt she’d keep posting bait after a decade+. Why are people online regularly blamed for the deep-rooted eating disorder she’s had since her childhood? She’s choosing to continue all this, she fuels her own ED.
One of the main reasons I’ve continued to follow her is me following how people perceive her, because I’n baffled. I think she is rotten to her core and she never had a fair chance to be a good person. This notion that somehow she is a sweet, genuine, compassionate soul still does baffle me. Like, are we following the same woman? Is it because most people have a soft spot for her looks? She’s tried her damndest and done well at ridding whatever conventional beauty she was born with, let’s please not be so shallow as to get hung up on that. She’s a rotten one and does her own damage more than any troll or tea channel could. She absolutely forces herself on viewers, she hates the idea of restricting her channels in any way, she promotes her own social media content like a seasoned saleswoman, and does everything she can to be seen as far and wide as possible. And fuck you if you think she shouldn’t be online or if you actually ban her (looking at you, Tiktok. Eugenia’s still not over that). She’s been an attention seeker for much of her life, as shown by her videos as a teenager. So frankly idk what you’re talking about.
