In my experience, people near-death often surprise you, getting second and third winds out of nowhere when you're sure that the time's come, then succumbing at the end of the turnaround. This goes for fats, anorexics, the elderly, cancer, just across the board. Look how many times we've been in the Amberlynn thread when she had cancer, or Fat Jenn in the old folks' home, speculating "any day now".
Non-sudden death is often a long, frustrating tug-off full of awful surprises, and I feel like Eugenia will be a case of this. Despite the medical neglect and skellybones, she's still probably got the less serious variation of coof and will stay wedged firmly in the anus of the internet's weird places for a while to come.
I mean, hopefully. She's not a cow I actively wish death upon, and while I won't be feeling one way or the other when she eats shit, it's always a little bit sad.
