I actually agree with you that people pearl clutching about Eugenia's influence need to dial it back. I'm sure she does have a negative influence on people but honestly there's a lot of fucked up stuff online and it's the responsibility of people (or the parents, if it's a kid/teenager) to make their own choices about what content to consume. Eugenia can be a shitty person with no regard for others AND people can be responsible for their own decisions at the same time.

On the other hand, I've seen you white knight a skelly in a different thread so I'm not really sure what your motivations are.

You are right, she looked so good last week, and the oil-free vegan cake she made looks delicious. You can really tell she fixed her relationship with food, she only had to mix 30 ingredients to make it, and couldn't even pretend to eat it on camera.

Way to miss my point. The part I bolded is exactly what I meant, instead of being the skelly defence squad or imagining a fictional healthy Eugenia to be bonded with, they wouldn't spare her the pity. That's the apathy. Calling her a predator sounds plain incorrect, predators seek out their victims and premeditate harm, Eugenia is harmful through her selfishness (the attention whoring no matter what, even as it causes her to shield pedos).

I sometimes wonder if the money is the way she can justify this to her parents. If she didn’t earn any money the parents might push her to do something with her life, get a job, etc.. But with the income she can claim she is an online streamer/model whatever. Mom plays along with the 28 year old career gal living in her bedroom by snapping photos.

Eugenia doesn’t need the money. She’s not like a ambitious streamer earning money to pay her bills. She lives at home with wealthy parents who cover all her living expenses.

Eugenia has only ever had to deal with the consequences of her actions once - when she was institutionalized. otherwise, she always gets away with her bad behavior so it will never change. hell, even when she was 5150d, Mommy Dearest came and saved her. no matter what happens, Eugenia knows she can run to her mods, bizarrely wealthy simps, and her mommy to save her. no matter how cunty she is or what happens in her community, she will have attention (which she's obviously obssessed with getting), a mom who will let her live with her, and income earned from being a skelly. she will always be able to devote her life to her eating disorder and that's why she keeps at this shit. it's also why i find it hard to completely condemn her - it's difficult to blame someone for acting out when the people around them always enable them to.
