Her mom is at the age where she's going to really start feeling the health effects of morbid obesity. If she doesn't have diabetes yet, she will soon, and the way fat around the middle pushes the lower thoracic and pelvic spine forward, her back must be screaming everytime she stands for longer then 10 minutes. I see the real probability of a walker in her future, and the very high likelyhood of a stroke or heart attack in the next 2-3 years.
Eugenia is not going to take it well, her whole mentality is living, feeling and acting (and being treated like) like she's eternally in early to mid teenaged years, even as the people around her in real life get older and time and bad personal choices make their marks on them (like the mother.) She's coddled and shielded from reality and surrounding herself with sycophants and perverts willing to join in the role play of her perpetual teenage-hood. She emotionally and psychologically depends on her world being in a weird sort of stasis, never moving forward but stuck forever at a time when she was cared for and under her parents' umbrella of protection and provision and (mostly) free to express herself and do whatever she wanted, without many of the adult consequences or reprisals that would come if if she tried living like she does as an adult (such as not having a job or trying to dress like a kid still.
Without living in the real world, she will not be able to handle it when it comes in with brute force. Her mom is not healthy either, and she is just as likely to bite the big one just as easily because of her weight and age, and if she has real heart problems like she claims, then being this fat is one of the WORST things for a weaker heart, because of how much strain obesity puts on it.
