I had presumed he went quiet because he was speaking to Vito behind the scenes, as he was treating him with kid gloves on X.

Based on what was said on that BPITU clip, I am not so sure.

That said he went dark midday, and was looking for somewhere to stay. He could have slept on a park bench for all we know. I doubt he went back to Mexico in the state he's in, but I guess it's not outside the realm of possibilities - he fly's into San Diego to see Xander doesn't he? - but this is probably him recounting when he got beaten by bouncers, phone smashed, last time around. Maybe the "fine" was him getting extorted. No paperwork :).
 
Juju the cow is missing out on so much cawweentent. You could have fousey style freakouts between the gunt and his bangmaid
