Dax was always going to flake, as evidenced by his exploding penis incidents or whatever to get out of any social engagement he agreed to be a part of with Ralph.

In any event, Ralph suicide baits about as often as he breathes. He'll be back to hollering at his fucked up stream setup in no time just as soon as he's done scaring the living daylights out of little Xannie.

Chantal said she was done with having temper tantrums and fast food and she almost immediately reappeared with an off-brand KFC bucket.

This is a huge deal for someone as broke as Ralph. Assuming that he was meant to stay with Dax, and now he can't, I would imagine that all of the hotel inventory is taken up by people evacuating from fires, and what inventory is left must be astronomical in price. I know many LA people were fleeing to San Diego and even as far as Las Vegas to find shelter.

He might actually have no place to stay.

Don't worry, they invested all the money that was supposed to go to the fire department in favor of helping out the homeless so he can probably get a bougie tent TAX FREEEE!
 
Ralph the Rat, is now claiming that his visit to see Xander, his own flesh and blood, is actually incidental and he's actually here for "an event".

Whatever you think, exposing someone for using illicit substances over 2 years ago is weak stuff. Pathetic. Like everyone told them - don't trust Ralph with anything, at all. Proven he will use it against you.

Maybe it's like when a person has his brain fried, and personality altered, by Ayahuasca. But this time, it is a light weight version with pills.

My best guess about what happened is that he and Dick had a show set up, and naturally he assumed he could crash at his house because Dick has been known to welcome obese drunk and drugged out piggies in his living quarters. But with his forever girlfriend pregnant, his priorities changed, and seeing Piggy in the state he is in told him that he can't stay over. Realizing that all hotel rooms are occupied due to fire evacuations, and if not they are priced like the Super Bowl is in town, this ultimate betrayal earned Dick the "BISH" treatment.
