Dax is one of the last "big shot's" left on his side. Ralph seems determined to take as much ribbing as possible from him before snapping.

I think the reason he never went after WATP is because he knows Dick and Karl are doing shows together: fuck with Karl you fuck with the Dick Show. Same might be said for Vito, given he’s only taken a few pot shots at Ralph.

I doubt anything Ralph could say could remotely effect Karl. I haven't listened in a year or so, but he's been called worse things by better people. Stuttering John has threatened to murder him how many times now? Even moreso, he'd just join in on it to fuck with Ralph and take any power he had away as quick as a snap. Ralph is no man, he is a bag of hot air and his conviction is worth even less.

Everyone should remember this. Right up until the day he attacked Jade, people were saying Ralph would never burn that bridge. You can’t put anything past him. He’d turn on Dick and Fuentes in the same day if he felt disrespected enough.

I think @XxTardWranglerxX nailed it. Ralph has no use for Dick. Dick has humiliated Ralph several times recently, including the Portugal trip, after which they didn’t talk for like a month. When Ralph finally reconnected, it was very lukewarm. On top of that, Dick’s audience hates Ralph. Ralph says things like “oh well, not my audience anymore” to cope with the fact that everyone who used to watch him hates him. Now with Dick taking little jabs at Nick’s cult, it’s just a matter of time before the “Cozy Assassin” kicks off the Dick Masterson redemption arc.

It’s weird because even though you can’t put anything past Ralph, he is at the same time very predictable. If someone makes fun of him, guaranteed he is keeping score. The trick is identifying his tell.

Dax will probably get a post-Ralph bounce, no doubt, as everyone does when they disavow Gunt. But a redemption arc? Realistically, it would take a lot to redeem him. It’s not just his deep-throated defense of lolicon. It’s also the fact that he started losing his temper, sperging at and banning members of his own audience. This is something content creators should never do. That was horrible for his brand, because he was internet famous for being a legendary IRL Troll. It’s a bad look when the Troll King can’t handle jokes or criticism.

Also, instead of defending pedo “art,” Dick should think harder about why people are so strongly against it, and maybe re-examine the principles which require him to take that stance. Dick thinks criminalizing lolicon (which btw is arguably already illegal in many places) is a slippery slope to censorship of other types of offensive speech. I’m sure in his mind he’s being morally consistent on “freedom of speech,” but at this point he needs to wake up to the fact that absolute freedom of speech is an illusion. Some speech is going to get censored, and that’s a good thing. People expect it, because they expect the law to reflect their values. “Cuties” should have been a wakeup call—the real slippery slope here is the one that leads to normalizing pedophila.

Lastly, Dick needs to work on making better, funnier content. I watched a few TDS clips recently and honestly he’s missing the edge he used to have. This is something that happens to everyone who makes content for long enough. IMO Dick should try a new format or something, or maybe do the show less often but make it better quality.

I don’t think he’ll do any of this, because as far as I know he’s still making money. But in terms of a having a true “redemption arc” with fans, regaining the support he used to have, that’s what it would take. Dick should make the most of his post-Ralph bounce and try to take things in a new direction. He should look at Warski’s example here: gunt disavow + humility + make amends + new show / gimmick = rejuvenated career.

To be honest I never liked TDS, even before actively disliking Dax, I never understood the appeal of his show, every once in a while there was a fun clip here or there but that's about it, I was just not able to sit through 1-2 hours of it.

That said, even that small appeal he had back then has disappeared completely. The recent Metokur call is a pretty good example, he's so concerned throughout the whole thing with not hurting Ralph's feelings (and hoping that Ralph calls in) that he kills any funny moments that come up. If it's not that then it's him "ironically" defending pedos or cuties or whatever, and if not that then it's just him sperging about people laughing at him, and he gets genuinely angry about it. A far cry from what he was even just a few years ago.

If he finally got rid of the dead weight that is Ralph he would get a boost for sure, maybe even close to when the show was dedicated to shitting on Maddox 100% of the time because he would again have an "enemy" that unites his audience, people would write songs, create content and do all the same shit they did with Maddox, but as far as redemption? I doubt it, he's not going to change or ever admit he was wrong and he doesn't seem to care enough to make any changes (as long as he's making money), maybe if he loses a ton of patreon supporters or something but I doubt it.
 
I hope the diddler isn't expecting the same asspats Gator got when he defected because he's not going to get them.

Especially with Fuentes demanding loyalty and Dax attacking AF.

I agree. I don't even think a silent exit will work. In the conversation he had with Jim, Ralph mentioned how Jim had tried to distance himself by not coming on the Killstream, and he portrayed it like it was some attack against him. So even just trying to silently distance yourself will piss Ralph off.

Everyone treated Ralph with kid gloves until he inevitably sperged out over the tiniest perceived slight:

Jim basically ignored Ralph and his antics (to the point he was criticized constantly for guntguarding) but Ralph couldn't handle him making jokes about his Portugal fiasco.
Nick Rekieta actually was trying to help Ralph with a legal situation, but changed his tune after Ralph sperged out that Nick reacted to the shart incident.
Gator literally gave years of his life playing head janny for Ralph, but the moment Gator decided to jump from the sinking ship, Ralph doxed him and talked about how he'd kill him if he could.

On and on. I'm sure this pattern applies to a ton of other people too.
There's a running theme here: If Ralph even perceives something you've done as a slight toward him, he'll go full scorched earth. And if we've learned anything, it's that if you've ever dealt with Ralph, it's only a matter of time before he starts squealing at you.

As someone that went down TBPU to Dick Show to Killstream pipeline, I can tell you 99% of Dick's Patreon support came from Maddox goss.

I was excited for The Dick Show but when they weren't talking about Maddox, it was almost painfully uninteresting. After a couple years the goss went dry.

And here is where Ralph managed to suck in Dick listeners like me. With Dick exposing his audience to the growing Killstream, dickheads now had another show to listen to five days a week to fill in the weekly gap between Dick shows.

For people like me that drive a lot, having backup podcast material is a godsend. Ralph going live every weekday was one of his most marketable ideas -- at least when he had talented cohosts, guests, and callers to carry the show (damn I didn't realize how crucial those old callers were).

Now Ralph has to work twice as much to not even make half the income he used to make.

Anyways, Maddox, Dick, and Ralph are all cows today. Actually Maddox currently is probably the least embarrassing. Ralph could learn a thing or two by pleading the fifth.
 
Dick might be able to revitalize his career by dunking on Ralph. He has a ton of insider lore on the guy due to them interacting so much in real life.

Like, dick has been present for almost every bad event in ralphs life.

The healstream saga, gunt saga, faith saga, pantsu saga, etc. In fact, without dick most of these may have ever happened in the first place.

I didn't expect him to flip on ralph due to mutually assured destruction, but like with most people, burning that bridge always hurts ralph more.
