Pve seems very boring
I think Leviticus called it "Blue collar Tarkov" and it's appropriate. I don't want to commit a work shift a day to make little progress and I don't care for sweats but I still die a ton so it's a win win to me.

LVNDMARK and Pestily have the two highest current twitch sub counts thanks to the paid twitch drops. SHEEFGG is comming in at #8 currently.

I used to watch Pestily a lot when I was newer but Ive switched over to LVNDMARK as I like his community more and he seems much more chill. Pest does help a lot of Ausie streamers though. I don't think any of them would have a job if it weren't for Pest promoting the shit out of them.

SHEEFGG is a weirdo. Would not suprise me at all if some weird sexual shit comes out eventually about him.

Edit: currently im stuck on setup. I have 2 more kills to go. Losing the gssh's sucks. The inner ear headset is better than nothing but it only reduces ambient sound. Pushing fights is almost impossible so Ive been camping to get the quest done. I hate camping, it's so boring.

Fingers crossed I get two Timmy's with mosins who don't know the map.

How do I not eat shit at labs on PvE? I want to learn that and Lighthouse as my main goals for the future since I'm getting close to hitting the hideout progression where I'm comfortable at (Bitcoin farm 1.)

Pestily seems like a chill dude. I really only watch him for so key/ map tips. He definitely has the LTT tier intros but once you're out of the first 2 min he calms down. IDK why but Landmark has that Andy Warski cokehead vibe but he also seems pretty chill too. I feel bad for everyone who donated to Pestily when BSG/ Twitch did the paid subs rug pull.

I feel bad for the first 15k but once he put a banner up saying paid drops weren't enabled, that was on the user. I know a guy who I literally told in Discord, "paid drops aren't working," and he replied, "I'm gonna do it anyway, just to see." Who then spent the next 3 days bitching about paid drops not working until I removed them as a friend because it was just too much.

Try offline raids to learn the map first. The general rule with AI is don't peak the same angle twice as they will be hard locked on it. Keep as much distance as you can and use grenades and map knowledge to flank/force them to stop holding corners.

I picked up Tarkov because I wanted a new game to play, and bro I'm loving it. I love how tense gameplay is and how you have to be smart about how you're doing things. A single moment of lapsed attention means you get shot before you know what's up, I feel like I'm in Seravejo.
I played a little online and had fun sniping people and getting sniped by people better than me, but now I downloaded SPT and some mods to make the AI better. Holy moly, now it's the perfect game for me because I just honestly don't care for online multiplayer that much. Just not my thing, I've never been into online in any game I play, but a single player Tarkov is my new addiction.
Still a total noob, I've literally never played a shooter before, but fuck this is fun.

Just bought the game, any tips?
Use the tarkov wiki for questing. Watch Pestily's new player guide and run an offline raid (with AI turned off) on every map before going in. Use some companion map like map genie or the wiki to guide you to the extracts you have.
There are plenty others but I like map genie with it's filters and every extract has screen shots so easy to learn.

Don't bother looting in offline, your player resets with gear you went in with at the end. That means you can bring stims and food in and those items will be returned.

Use your scav. Its a free kit every time you get out. Oh and don't shoot other scavs as a scav. Basically on PMC you shoot everything and on scav nothing. When you scav AI scav will be friendly to you besides bosses and raiders. Learning what those are is essential.

Pestily and LVNDMARK are both boring retards. It's genuinely hilarious to me how fucking boring almost every single Tarkov """content""" creator is. It's only with the rise of Peanut that Tarkov creators have remembered that it's a video game and video games are supposed to be fun. The funniest thing lvndmark has ever done was get scammed multiple times on the flea market and then get mad as if it's not his fault he didn't spend a single extra second before buying shit.
tl;dw for the first 4 minutes: hes selling items as a pack on the flea for millions of rubles and idiots buy it because they're not paying attention

Peanut is hilarious and I think it's great that he has gotten big. The tarkov community def benefits from his presence.

LVNDMARK is my go to because I'm just looking for some chill inbetween raids myself. Im not a huge content creator consumer in the first place. I only watch Tarkov streams to improve my gameplay.

I keep a map of whatever level I am on pulled up in my other monitor, usually one of Re3mr's maps (the nice 3d rendered ones you see on the wiki) from his website: https://reemr.se/

I keep local copies so I don't have to have a browser window open unless I'm using the wiki for a quest reference, and to be nice on the guy's bandwidth by not downloading the same huge images over and over again since he's pretty chill and helpful.

After a while you'll get an idea of where the AI does and doesn't go to, and you can use this to plan your routes accordingly depending on whether you want to hunt or loot and scoot.

Related to the pathing comment above: It can be relaxing to go up to the dome on Reserve, put on something to listen to, and click heads. Note that this is mostly applicable to PVE or offline raids if it's your PVP character. If you have p-cord and a Red Rebel you have an immediate extract at the bottom of the outside stairs.

Don't underestimate flashbangs. Don't underestimate Zvezda/flashbang rounds in the KS-23.

Surgery kits, flare guns, single use flares, and p-cord are all good uses of your special equipment slots, especially if you're not using it for things like markers/beacons.

Hit the gym and then do a scav run. Unless you get unlucky you'll get your energy (food) and hydration back by rhe time you're done.

6.00 or more Scav Karma (Fence Rep) means your scav can hang out with bosses. I'm pretty sure that doesn't include the Goons, but I don't remember trying.

If you have Arena it's good for training your Endurance, weapon skills, Steess Resistance, and a few other things, and you can get cases really easily with GP coins.

Your stash is full because you keep picking up shit you don't need, or at least not selling the junk you don't need. I am 100% guilty of this.

If you're trying to finish a

If you're trying to level quickly don't forget to open the inventory of any body you can (safely) get to. You don't have to actually search and of the pockets/rigs/bags, just interact with the dead player/ai and you'll get the exp right away.

Don't neglect the Metabolism skill. Eventually you'll get to the point where you can get through a raid with nothing more than, say, an energy drink, if you even need that. Also, the max level perk keeps you from taking damage from being out of food or water, which can be extra helpful if you get a blacked stomach in raid. It's typically the first skill people get maxed anyway hust be the nature of how it works, but if you have the opportunity to speed it along for little cost, do so. Don't be afraid to down a condensed milk you can't carry and then reconstitute it by downing a bottle of water.

Downing a Max Energy will give you a minor debuff that will give you a few points toward Immunity, So will the dehydration debuff feom croutons.

He's a viewbotting fag.
Apparently, there is quite the kerfluffle behind the scenes about this in the Tarkov community. I've seen Desmond and Gingy talk about it openly, and LVNDMARK wisely deflected viewers' questions about the whole thing.

It started because some people (as well as sheef) were posting VODs while being in the live category. This is only an issue during drops. Anyway, I think sheaf reported a few semi-popular streamers who caught 24-hour bans, and then they reported him, and he caught a 24-hour ban as well. It was well known in the community that Sheefe has been botting, but no one was outing him until the whole drops fiasco.

Im not talking about all that though. He gives off Rekita vibes. The guy leaves his cam up so people can watch him sleep sometimes.

EDIT: THE BLUE FOLDERS IN CULTIST CIRCLE ARE ABSOLUTELY FUCKING GOATED.
First run: VPX, MFD, Pest mask
Second run: Docs case, Yellow card, Tank battery

Going to do my third run now. They used to give ledx's and I'm trying to get my med 3 going while saving my one FIR LEDx for my first THICC case. The folders only cost 300-400k, which is very, very worth it lol. Abuse it while the folders are cheap!

I don't think blue folders have a specific recipe. The cultist circle works off of input value. When you place items worth 350k rubles or above you get a 14 hour circle which (potentially) give you high value items. Circles with items 400k rubles or above also have a 25% chance for a 6 hour circle which will give you hideout upgrade items or items required for any active tasks. Regardless of how much the items are worth above 400k there's not a higher than 25% chance and you don't get equivalently expensive or rare items. There's also certain items you can put in the circle which will give you specific things back. Placing a kappa container in the circle will give you a desecrated cultist kappa container back, for example.

https://www.cultistcircle.com/ is very handy for this

It can be super handy for doing cultist circles with stuff you have in your inventory already as well as checking out the recipes for specific items. There's also a few things that are guaranteed to give you 14 hour circles every time and will save you the trouble. 5 MP5s from PK, 5 SSDs, etc. My go to during 0.16 was buying a labs card on the flea and doing the barter for the G28 as that gave you a 14 hour circle and ended up being significantly cheaper than buying 5 SSDs.
