I mean, Britbongs are, sure, we don't even have to talk about that and we know everyone in the UK is English, ok, calm down.

Regardless, I just wrote something to someone and realized you could read it two ways. Did I write 'read' or 'read' and the context is important.

>no causal relationship between spelling and pronunciation
>almost no gendered nouns
>only has accentuation in questions
>no verb nor noun stressing
>almost non-existent non-verbal language
>irregular past tenses
>is a mongrel of Frisian, French, High German and Dane

Absolute subhuman "language" (series of grunts, to be more accurate).

2/10, what were they even thinking (I guess not much) lmao?

I was trying to learn Old English at one point but realized it is just basically German read wrong and with additional cases (sort of really reminds me of Lithuanian in that way). English is such a mutt language like the America it spawned, I can't even. English speakers have this insane affinity to adopt any other language's words, I don't even know where to start.

When I was in one English class at uni, we were talking about the correct way to read/say The Canterbury Tales. Every single word that ended in 'e' had to be pronounced and once you did, fuck me, it made a lot more sense and more enjoyable to read.
