I can understand the hate for nuts but they're shockingly good for you, they're a relatively easy to store source of fat and fat is energy so an energy bar would inherently have longer lasting energy by having nuts in it.

First question: do you want immediate energy, or sustained energy? Immediate energy means carb-heavy bars, stuff that's very very sweet. Think candy bars. If you want sustained energy, you need stuff with more fat and protein. Most store-bought energy bars are going to fall somewhere in between, but when you make your own you can customize it to your needs. If you're expending huge amounts of energy quickly, you want the carb-heavy bars. If you're spending all day hiking, you want fat-heavy.

Carb-heavy bars can literally just be candy bars, like snickers, but assuming you want to avoid eating processed sugar/corn syrup, here's some options:
You get it. Any "energy bar" recipe that primarily features fruit is going to have carbohydrates as its main nutrient.

Fat-heavy bars are usually made with either cream cheese or a nut butter as their primary ingredient. These can melt at room temperature, so make sure to store them accordingly.
If you're lazy, you can literally just eat any dried fruit (raisins, freeze dried strawberries, cranberries, etc) as a carb-heavy snack or any nut or seed (macadamia, almond, sunflower) as a fat-heavy snack.

Crisco Shortening & (powdered) Sugar (add vanilla extract to flavor). Basically cake icing. Somewhat shelf-stable (especially stored as component parts). Pure fat and sugar, and I can eat it plain (it's a nice treat). Who doesn't swipe icing off a cake?

No hatred just allergies.
Some people are deathly allergic
Yep you got it. I have been to the hospital before for it, was not a fun time.

I've done well with Clif bars in the past but they really seem to have pared down flavors. The website admits to stuff like Coconut Chocolate Chip (my favorite flavor), Nuts & Seeds, the Sweet & Salty line, and Carrot Cake.

My recipe is that I mix 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup nutritional yeast (that yellow shit vegans eat), around 1 cup of water possibly more if too dry, 2 tbsp of flax meal, 1 cup of quick oats, then a bunch of nutritional supplements ground up and added into the dough. Bake for 375 for at least 30 minutes. It's kinda rubbery and very bland, but it has plenty of B vitamins, fiber, calories, and a little bit of protein. If you need more calories in it, just add lard to it and reduce the amount of water I guess. Or maybe add peanut butter. I bake a batch of these bars and I don't have to cook breakfast for the week.
