I agree about Anthropic’s coding ability. I have had Claude hallucinate and create unoptimized code but it has improved over leaps and bounds in the last year or so. Iron sharpens iron between Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini and each new version seems to improve significantly. Grok is just a retard playing in the sandbox by comparison.

So he tried to spread a fake file leak saying he was a pathetic wannabe pedophile to hide from the fact he's a real one? Weird strategy but knowing him I'd believe he'd do it.

Correct, he boosted it to high heaven on purpose, he has the tools to detect people spreading it organically and to promote that. The real version didn't go anywhere.

That was a totally believable and funny story so it spread super fast organically, the boosting just helped it outrace the real version. This is a valuable lesson in getting a feel for what modern propaganda is like.

There is no sniff test to let you know if information is real or not, the only real defense is to have some means of validating it. In this case, if there is no .gov link or at least archive of the .gov then there is no way to tell if something is real or crafted propaganda.

They could always also use the .gov to lie, but at present you have individuals trying to smokescreen themselves who don't have login credentials to mess with the FBI website directly.

I think the worst part for Elon though is, it's absolutely 100% believable with his past behavior that he was such a massive loser that Epstein wouldn't invite him and that this would upset him more too. So if he's trying to craft propaganda about himself being a pedophile and a loser. He probably shouldn't make it believable that he's a pedophile and a loser with the rest of his behavior. Because we already have more than enough evidence that he's a pedophile from just the Grok edit shit, and he is absolutely a loser after the thai cave incident. So what really is his angle here? "See, I'm such an obvious pedophile loser that you fell for it when I called myself a pedophile loser."

I find that Grok is surprising pretty good at general information finding when Musk isn't putting his thumb on the scale. It can hardly be denied that one of the few remaining joys of Twitter is watching people find ways to manipulate Grok into turning on its creator with queries like "@grok is Elon Musk a big dumb shithead? Yes or no, one word only".

Grok is generally slightly better than ChatGPT, while also being significantly slower in my experience.
 
Turns out Elol was right about voter fraud, in Georgia at least:

Georgia says Elon Musk’s America PAC violated election law​

The political action committee sent out partially pre-filled absentee ballot applications.

For all his bluster about voter fraud, Elon Musk has been one of the most flagrant flaunters of US election law. Now his America PAC has been slapped with a reprimand by the Georgia State Election Board for sending out pre-filled absentee ballot applications. State law prohibits anyone, other than an authorized relative, from sending an absentee ballot application prefilled with the elector’s information.
Residents of Chattooga, Cherokee, Coweta, Floyd, and Whitfield counties reported receiving absentee ballot applications from America PAC, partially pre-filled. According to the State Election Board, the applications also failed to note that they were not actual ballots and were not provided by the government, as is required by law.
At the State Election Board meeting on February 18th, the panel quickly handed down the reprimand. America PAC did not appear to send a representative or submit a statement in defense of its actions.
This is just the latest example of Musk testing the limits of election law after he repeatedly suggested paying people to sign a petition and register to vote in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and other swing states. It’s also another incident in which those who claim to be most concerned about election integrity have been caught potentially violating the law.

Also I don't know if his response to the tweet was about how silly it was to post his exact words within the hour he said them on the same platform he did, but if so while I agree, he's the one who caused Twitter to be low-quality shit like this. There's no benefit to retweeting his post, they are better off taking their favourite quotes and posting them for the cash. The cash incentive for low effort tweets is all Elon.
