But Grok doing it does make it quite a target, especially when any result is going to be shared publicly on Twitter - I'm surprised Grok or its users haven't already run afoul of any anti "AI deepfake" laws already, even if it's technically not generating full nudity.

yeah, but when it's being run on Grok's servers and they don't seem to be doing anything to limit it i feel like it starts to become elon's issue because essentially twitter is producing it at that point even though it's taking the suggestion from the perverts. I wouldn't be surprised if places like South Korea start going after them. I'm pretty sure using AI to portray a real person in even a mildly suggestive way is illegal there. johnny Somali caught extra charges just for making a photo of a girl kissing him or some shit.

Once upon a time, Tesla's $400+/share valuation rested not on promises of self-driving taxis and robot servants, but on the idea of a 50% annual car sales growth into 2030; at which point they'd be selling a casual 20 million cars per year, or 2x what current leader Toyota sells yearly.
Reality has turned out rather differently, with sales stagnating then starting to fall since 2024:

As it turns out, Tesla had 418,227 global deliveries in the 4th quarter. That’s down 15.6% compared to the 4th quarter of 2024, and down 13.7% from the 4th quarter of 2023.

Looking at the year as a whole, Tesla sales were down 8.54% in 2025 compared to 2024. Worse, compared to 2023, Tesla’s vehicle deliveries were down 9.54% — or 10% rounding up.

To put it into perspective, at 1.64 million sales in 2025, Tesla sold a number of cars closer to that of relatively smaller players in the industry like Mazda (1.2 million) and the Renault Group (2.2 million) despite being worth more as a company than the 10 largest automotive groups in the world combined.
Not only that, but their line-up is ancient at this point and their sales are almost entirely coming from the Model Y and the Model 3. The X and S are residual and the Cybertruck has proven to be the biggest flop in American automotive history since the Edsel.


Note also that their Q3 and Q4 2025 figures are artificially inflated by the end of EV subsidies in key markets like the US and Norway pulling demand forward. My hot take prediction is less than 1.5 million sales in 2026 and negative earnings if not annually, at least in some quarters.
Once the annual figures for the entire continent are released at the end of the month I'll write another post on the catastrophic sales drop in the EU (less so in the UK and Norway) and about how they're treading water in China, both markets where EV sales are growing by double-digit percentages.

There's a legitimate chance that $TSLA will not be profitable in 2026. Their last quarter's TTM EPS was only $1.45 (for a $460 stock rofl). With losing the government bucks, they very well may be in the red and thus become delisted from the S&P 500

Tesla also completely lost in the "self driving taxi" race. google's Waymo is kicking their asses. Tesla is still in super beta trying to figure out Austin while Waymo is expanding to a dozen major cities. Can't remember if it was ITT but I've seen somebody describe the Cybercrunk as an EV Hummer H1. How many Hummer H1s do you still see nowadays?
