When I attended an event in San Francisco last year they had the self-driving taxis all over the place. One almost side swiped a car right in front of our Uber and the driver said he sees that all the time. It's one of the worst US cities I can imagine to test run self-driving cars but that's SF for you.

It’s dumb. I went down there to the Vegas one once and waited for a driver to show up for like 10 minutes before i just went back up and walked. It’s also retarded that it’s not automated yet, if I wanted some guy from Africa to drive me around I’d order an Uber.

Maybe in like 15 years if they finish it properly it could be worth using.

It's also a death trap. No exits inside the tunnel incase a car explodes, no way for firefighters to easily access said exploded car bomb, and last I watched a news report showing a person actually drive through it, there's no sprinkler system.

This. I've been largely okay with DOGE and what elon has done in general there but i've been worried that people were going to forget about this.

Elon is a classic Gen X space obsessed transhumanist. He likes america and the west as an economic zone but not as a culture. He would strangle a deformed child if it meant 20 others would grow up to be successful engineers. In many ways those people are directly responsible for clown world.

Clown world's undermining of meritocracy was a big part of the problem, but not the only part. Godless robotic soulessness is just a big an enemy and I will not tolerate it.
 
Wait till those Medicaid cuts happen. The GOP and their voter base will be feuding. By feuding I mean staying home or voting for Democrats again. Trump might even resign. I wouldn't want to deal with the Democrats for the last two years of my final presidential term either. I would just walk away and leave the Republicunts fucked.
 
Tea Party/libertarian right wing types mad that Trump isn't shrinking the government to nothing immediately again. Damn guys, things don't need to be perfect right away. Can't you just be happy that the tax cuts are staying, the Supreme Court isn't being doubled in size, AR15s aren't being banned, and we aren't being flooded with as many little brown people as we used to be? If not happy, then relieved enough that you won't have a Kanye style Twitter crash out over it?

Don't forget how it also means Elon somehow got access to information that was likely outside of his clearance.
He really shot himself in the foot, ass, and head with this one.
 
I dont believe the feuding as being legitimate and I think Elon and Trump are getting along nicely when out of the public eye.

I think what's happening is that the two are attempting to make a clean break from one another. In an attempt to get rid of the assumption that Elon is a puppet president and allowing Elon to return to his normal life and possibly grift off the anti-Trump crusade.
