Books in the 100/150 page range are MORE LIKELY to be read on camera. Short story collections, anthologies, and middle grade fiction has the best chance of getting picked first.

The funny thing is that Eelkat was the most laughed about ban from NaNo. She's not supposed to be there at all. I wonder what name she's going to get banned by this year. Or, will she claim she's been hacked again?

I just ran into this delusional person. She called herself autistic and retarded. Retarded people cannot drive cars and she shows no sign of autism as medically defined. She fits under paranoid schizophrenic and show the same patterns as such. Not as aggressive as Lena Kochman but pretty bad.

Um. Brad has only gotten 'traction' here. Because we find his delusions funny. The only other way he has established himself is getting banned from every site in existence. He is an idiot and no one. No one takes him serious. Not even his caretaker/'girlfriend'

I was watching the antics of Lena Kochman when Eelkat showed up in related videos. She is not as extreme as Lena in terms of paranoia, but insane nonetheless.

So lately Eelkat has been blaming the KKK and a group called the "Flamboyant Nipples" on everything, and has written some message targeted towards tourists of her city. She also talks about some campaign to hang rainbow colored flags on anyone who isn't with the KKK, and urges tourists to only shop at stores with this flag as if they don't have it they're part of the KKK and LITERALLY trying to kill her. She also believes that everyone in her town is trying to kill her.

Holy crap. I first encountered her at least a decade ago (probably in connection with NaNoWriMo), when she was allegedly being persecuted by elders of the local LDS church, and claimed to have an extraterrestrial companion who had been her devoted friend since childhood (he lived in the woods and slept in one of the abandoned cars on her property). She obviously had some screws loose, and a paranoid streak a mile wide, but came across, for the most part, as a harmless weirdo.

A couple of years later, I checked in on her again out of curiosity. She claimed the Mormons had burned her house down, and that she was living through a Maine winter in a rambling structure built of shipping pallets and covered in blue tarps. Still paranoid, still full of stories that didn't add up, but she still came across as basically harmless.

I'd pretty much forgotten about her until now, and--holy shitballs. She has gone way, way off the fucking rails. So the Mormons gave up picking on her, and now it's the Klan? Mmkay, Wendy; whatever.

ETA: Oh, and her claims to have been the "gypsy witch" inspiration for Stephen King's Thinner, or that one of her junk cars being the inspiration for Christine is nothing more than attention-seeking nonsense. She's only 41years old, according to a freebie public records search; she would have been nine years old when Thinner was originally published--under King's Richard Bachman pseudonym.

And yeah, she's been in the Old Orchard Beach area since 1975--because she was born there in 1975 and never left. She's in no way "elderly."

I used to wonder how she had enough money to exist, and my guess is that since there are a lot of not-too-bright, gullible people out there, she's been getting by on donations over the years. Each crisis, each crime allegedly committed against her, and each alleged killing of one of her pets brings money in from the tender-hearted and soft-headed. But since she has to keep coming up with new stories to keep the tugboat chugging along, they've grown wilder and more tangled as the years have gone by.

So she's really, really crazy, but I think she's also constantly gunning for attention, sympathy, and whatever sweet, sweet cash comes her way.
