They don't want to suffer under the Antichrist or maybe fear they won't survive until Jesus comes and the Antichrist will do some evil spell to steal their souls or make them reject Jesus and so they won't be saved.
Though let's face it, if Jesus is predestined to save you, it doesn't matter what the Antichrist can do, he shouldn't be a higher power than God himself.
