it gets you the female demographic, cheap & easy to produce, runs well enough on switch, works for a lot of normies in the same way soap operas and casual games do (since it's usually nothing more than an amalgamation of those two).

I hope and pray that it's something like Origins and Legends, because those two were true return to forms in the Rayman franchise.

Easily the best games in the series. I'm not the biggest Rayman fan but those clicked with me. Capping that style of game off with a 3rd entry would be perfect, then maybe they could try something else.

Origins and Legends are fun games, and I'd say they are neck-to-neck tied as the second best Rayman game, only losing to the second game.

That's a decent game but it feels a bit meandering and slow for a platformer. I like the atmosphere though, I'm a sucker for the dark, foggy N64 look.

Based on the utter shit they showed at the streams that replaced it over the past couple of years i'm not surprised that the major companies want to distance themselves from it.

It was pretty much the same 5 types of game reskinned.

Yes, Origins and Legends were brilliant, but what I really want is a new 3D Rayman platformer. Maybe make it like a better DK64 or SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom, where you can switch between Rayman, Globox, and Barbara on the fly to solve different challenges.
