He's part of the crowd that encourages it because would be instantly cancelled otherwise.
Does he? Legit asking, I know nothing about him besides that he was willing to bow down to any corporate sponsorship to get games out there and that he really loves sucking Kojimas dick.
I always got the impression he didn't support all this shit over the years and he's just stuck dealing with it.

Nothing concrete, but what little I’ve seen of his social media indicates a decent amount of self-awareness; which wokeists lack as a rule.

Devolver was alright. It was funny enough without being too long. Plucky Squire and Lamb Cult absolutely seem like great games.
Did we watch the same presentation? It was a 25 minute show with 20 minutes of a painfully unfunny "comedy" sketch that wore out its welcome in 30 seconds and 5 minutes of mediocre game trailers.

Hey man I enjoyed Plucky Squire and Lamb, what can I say? Maybe I didn't find it too bad because of the second half of SGF was absolute trash and had me sleeping so Devolver went by quicker.

The saddest thing is that for all the "punching up" on AAA that Devolver does with their "presentations", they probably wasted way more money on this than any other company this year.

With E3 cancelled maybe they should have taken the hint.

I'm not commenting on the quality of the games presented (I thought plucky squire looked pretty cool to be honest) I'm disgusted by the fact that they had a 25 minute time slot to show off upcoming games and used 80% of it for banal "commentary" on the games industry in the most juvenile manner possible. The random cursing = funny schtick wore out its welcome with me last year so seeing them doubling down on it this year coupled with the grossly disproportionate amount of time give to showing off actual games made me a little MATI.

So apparently there's shit going on today and it's a lot more than I thought

No yeah I'll give you that. I didn't watch Devolver last year so maybe that's it.

So now Netflix is in the mobile gaming market, and according to Geoff, there's "no microtransactions"

EDIT: this is one of them. They're just tallking about them instead of showing trailers
