So, by your logic, if I wanted to play, let's say, Golden Sun for the GBA, I would have to buy a GBA SP (cheapest one is $103 right now) and a copy of the game(cheapest copy is $43 - that's almost $150 just for one goddamn game). The majority of the games on these ROM sites are A. decades old B. hard-to-find and C. expensive. And not a cent is going to the original developers. I know you're probably just shitposting, but Nintendrones actually legitimately think like the comic above, and it pisses me off.

It takes some effort but I usually get retro stuff cheap if I just peruse ebay for a week and find some deals. Sellers who sell Lots I've had the most luck with, where I bought whole series for less than the cost of a single installment.

Uhh... you've inadvertently described what it is like to buy any console ever. Though the prices you listed are pretty low. I paid like, 200 for a Switch.

So looking back, Immortal might actually not be a #metoo game. It might just be about a failed actor whose screenplays were turned down and that game is either her seething about it in videogame form or someone writing about how stunning and brave she is. Still kinda funny, but not the nuclear payload I was expecting. Sorry for the false alarm and disappointment, last post about this shitty game I swear.

Also Nintendo listening to its fans is only done when profitable, and even then only done in ways that piss off fans. AM2R for example, or the development hell that Prime 4 is probably in.

These games and consoles are decades old, bro. Ain't no way I'm sacrificing a significant chunk of change for a two-decade+ old game. And who's to say that the console/game will boot up upon arrival? Disc rot is also a thing, you know.
