E3 2020 has been canceled

was e3 ever good? I remember a lot of people saying e3 was going to just bow out back in 2007. back when a lot of companies were being pitched Nintendo direct-esque alternatives. Honestly if their last one was 2006, we probably would be nostalgic for it.

E3 in the early 2000s was incredible, at least from what I saw in magazines and TV, I wish I could go back in time and experience them in person.

But the spending on them was extravagant and quickly got dialed way back, it's been a very long, slow slide into irrelevance ever since.
