Oh I forgot crystal chronicles was getting a remaster, it looks pretty alright.

Why should I care about these characters' asthma?

They're saying miasma, because if I remember correctly the world of crystal chronicles is full of basically toxic gas that you need a lantern to ward you from or you'll choke to death. Something like that.

This is is getting off the rails with the remasters, remakes and games already out. There were a few new things they had only announced as titles last year, so hopefully they actually get to them.

Wow, two remakes and one's already coming out tonight. Ok, Square Enix, you're bringing me back and not even that into jrpgs

I played the demo for the first dragon quest builders, it seemed pretty good for what it was, but I knew a sequel was coming out so I waited. I might pick this up especially because if I remember right you can play coop which was a ton of fun in Terraria.

Hey playable demos. Nice

I've beaten the first one which I'm weirdly into and bits of pieces of all the rest up to 10.
Final Fantasy 2 has a weird leveling system that just amounts to stat growth and a good way to level quickly to have your own party members beat up and heal on each other
Final Fantasy 3 is just bad and the final dungeon is murder every step is a 5 minute long random encounter and there's no way around it unless you use hex codes to remove random encounters
Final Fantasy 4 has Easy type and hard Type and a third version which was the SNES American release. Hard Type has wild difficulty swings it lives up to it's name.
Final Fantasy 5 is known for it's job system everything else is kinda unremarkable
Final Fantasy 6 is probably the best 2D FF game, large party with a ton of recuritable members and a ton of Espers to hunt down and acquire. Has an island full of Dinosaurs that epeople use for easy leveling.
Final Fantasy 7 is the first 3d Final Fantasy still has turnbased battle system everything else holds up to this day other than the graphics
Final Fantasy 8 you'll find many people have a split decision on. Personally I liked it, tons of itneresting monster designs and locations. If you junction 99 Ultima spells to your attack you fucking wreck shit and it's incredibly easy in the early game to synth and farm Ultima spells
Final Fantasy 9 a solid Medieval Fantasy RPG has many annoying sidequests though
Final Fantasy 10 is another good entry the battle system is also not bad either
Final Fantasy 10-2 a direct sequel with a job changing system that works on the fly. If you're gunning for 100% you can't skip dialogue so you have to be very careful and pretty much follow a guide for the true ending.
Final Fantasy 11's an MMO
Final Fantasy 12, the PS4 version is superior to the PS2 one and the new job system is good too. It also speeds along the game faster but you'll still get held up collecting Chops once you reach the big city. It's a good entry to the series, the positives outweigh the negatives. Has a ton of challenging bosses that you can also find ways to cheese as well
Final Fantasy 13, it's a game made like a mid 90's action movie like a Michael bay film given form. battle system can be tedious especially at later stages
Final Fantasy 13-2, a direct sequel tries to be Chrono Trigger and the time travel mechanics works like how a modern CT game should. battle system is much quicker, secret ending is bullshit and ends on a weird note that's supposed to be a cliffhanger but isn't.
Final Fantasy 13: Lightning Returns, the third game in the trilogy and the past two games have next to nothing to do with it. yes the game doesn't tie up anything left from the past two games and characters act and behave entirely different. However from a Gameplay standpoint it's incredibly strong, the battle system is the best out of the 3 games. There's also far more shit to explore and do, it's effectively a stand alone title. It plays similarly to Valkyrie Profile with the time limit and quests, you can slow down the flow of time though so it's not as tight a limit as you would think. A very solid JRPG the only real negative would be you don't unlock gear smithing until your second playthrough. If you have to play 1 Final Fantasy 13 title play this one and only play the other two if you're curious about the cameos of the Final Fantasy 13 characters.
Final Fantasy 14, it's an MMO
Final Fantasy 15, They made an open world RPG about exploring Yellow Stone park but with fantasy creatures, they never finished it, the DLC is bad and doesn't really resolve or add anything of value, had infinite number of patches that went nowhere. The Multiplayer component was split off into it's own game which caused confusion for people who had data saves from when it was still tied with Final Fantasy 15 because stuff wasn't being recognized in save files. Comrades by itself is not that good either. Basically Final Fantasy 15 is the Windchester House of videogames, except it doesn't have dead indian ghosts haunting it, the only thing dead in it is the potential of it that was killed.

why yes I do listen to final fantasy on my phone, how did you know?
