E3 2017 - your thoughts and predictions

weird concept I know, but you can actually have a multi-cultural multi-ethnic whateverthefuck game without pulling out a megaphone and shouting
"LOOK AT HOW PROGRESSIVE WE ARE"

To those who have not played the first game and have no fucking idea why we're sperging out about this being a prequel, to explain it in broader terms: This is like beginning to work on the Star Wars prequels 15 years after 'The Empire Strikes Back' without ever making 'Return of the Jedi'.

I agree with that but that is the marketing, not the game itself. Also 100% agree with you on it being disappointing for being a prequel and not a sequel

Perhaps I am being harder on that aspect because of how badly they let me down with the prequel announcement. If it was a sequel, I probably would've looked the other way. But now it's a dingleberry atop the shit sundae
 
i've been sitting on my ass waiting for bg&e 2 for years, e3 after e3 i still held onto that fucking 2 minute long teaser trailer from 2008

i don't even care about the rabbids anymore, i expected absolutely nothing from ubisoft and i still want to fucking die

At least now I have closure. The story is never going to continue, the series is dead. This will come out and bomb like every other game Ubisoft tries to do the forced online multiplayer thing with, and even if it's good it won't sell well. I can stop waiting with baited breath at every E3 for a sequel to finally come out, it's not going to happen ever. RIP.
 
BG&E 1 was trash, I'm looking forward to all the salt when Ubisoft does what EA did to Mirror's Edge 2 (another crappy "cult classic") by making it into a half-assed open-world game.

I don't agree, but at least we're on the same side now and I want to see it fail as hard as you do.
 
Now that this was brought up I don't even want to watch that now. Sick and fucking tired of party pooper narratives.
 
I just realized that the guy who plays the main character in Days Gone is Sam Witwer. That's fantastic!

Let's see what Sony has in store!
