Anyone who is upset about that could just buy a PC.

Just saying (this also applies to those upset about the PS4 Pro for some reason).

It seems EA is dipping its toe into the "trying to make new IPs" water again, which has always had a mixed result.

Anthem from Bioware looks like a borefest and them trying to desperately cling to the coat tails of Horizon: New Dawn which we'd all still be raving about had Breath of the Wild not had Link come screaming along in his underpants waving a burning branch around.

A Way Out seems more like an inconvenience than anything else and seems bizarrely like you could play it single player with the differing playstyles but they choose not to, making an awkward having to either get your friend round to play the game, or run the risk of an asshole online who could fuck the game up for you.

Need for Speed: Payback actually looked stupid awesome and I'd quite like to play a Fast and Furious style game that wasn't total garbage.

I was never that big a fan of Battlefront the first time around, but I'm glad they seem to be going a decent job of its sequel having handed it to DICE.

DICE handled the last Battlefront game. Though I admit it definitely looks like they're putting more effort into it this time around.

Microsoft conference is scheduled to begin at 2pm Pacific, or about an hour from this writing. Bethesda will be happening later on this evening, followed by Devolver (not sure if that one will have a stream, but if it does, we'll try to get it.)

We have the Microsoft stream ready in the Movie Night room. Come early for some random vidya bullshit I threw in, stay for the shitposting.

I thought the first one was incredibly rushed, wasn't it? That would certainly explain the lack of content and would explain why this one looks more fleshed out.
I heard that they had to scrap the single player campaign so that they can get the game out in time for TFA.

Thankfully, having established assets and systems in place will allow for a much more complete game.

>TFW the new Xbox console is only the size of the cooling chamber in the release model Xbox One...

More colorful games instead of gritty post-urban shooters, but also more dark-souls lookalikes.

I'm incredibly divided right now.

EDIT: OG XBOX BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY GET THE FUCK IN

Cuphead looked neat. Wish they'd shown more than just 30 seconds of it.

The most exciting part is the possibility of games like JSRF or Metal Wolf Chaos on Xbox One. Sad!

Also,

>$499

MICROSOFT IS FINISHED

OG Xbox Backwards compatibility. Fucking hold my coffee.

The price isn't that bad but it isn't going to move consoles. The biggest takeaway is you can get an entry level gaming PC for that much or even less... Yeah, sour grapes indeed...

New Metro looks rad.
Code Vein looks rad.
Dragonball Fighter Z looks rad.
CUPHEAD LIVES AND I CAN BUY IT ON STEAM
Can't believe MS is going to try and sell a mid-gen upgrade for 500 bucks
OG Xbox c0mpatiblity is rad tho
Anthem is literally just fucking Destiny.

I literally can't remember the rest.
