I don't usually get this hyped for sequels, but there are a lot of good PC sequels coming.
Dark Souls 3, XCOM 2, Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Doom, MGS V

No Last Guardian on PC, though. Ah well.

EDIT: Also appreciate the amount of mod support that's on display here. Fallout 4, XCOM 2 and Doom all seem to be pretty mod-friendly from the ground up.

For today, there's a Nintendo event and a Square Enix events. Here's some of my predictions.

Nintendo:
They talk about the new Star Fox
Revealing that Hyrule Warriors 3DS port
They talk more about Xenoblade X and maybe a release date (Please Nintendo, Please!)
Something Mario related
Something Pokemon related like the new Mystery Dungeon

Square Enix:
Revealing more information of the remake reveal on FFVII remake
Maybe finally releasing that Dragon Quest VII remake to NA
Talk more about their other games like Tomb Raiders or something

I wished I could see all of it, but I be at work while all of this happens. It sucks, but what can you do.

Any Vita news? Stopped watching around the Cawadoody part.

lol who am I kidding?

Does showing the Vita logo while a bunch of footage for vita games flash across the screen for a minute or so count? Because that happened at one point.

Anyway, I caught up, and boy is there a lot to be excited for. I'm getting giddy just thinking about this stuff. I even enjoyed Microsoft's conference a lot, and I'm normally not at all interested in anything they have to say, but they did really good this year. Not good enough to make me want to buy an Xbox One, but I may have to look into that augmented reality visor thing they showed.

Final Fantasy VII looks gorgeous, of course. I love how good Midgar looks, and the music is perfect. So good!

Battlefront looks like lots of fun, assuming that the footage they showed actually translates to gameplay. Reminded me of playing Rogue Squadron on the PC back in the day though.

"Worlds of Final Fantasy"...? lol go home Squeenix, you're drunk.

The Last Guardian. Wow, it's been a long time coming. I remember when this was first announced, and then it seemed like it fell off the face of the earth. Seems a little surreal to see it being announced with a release date.

I never got into the Shenmue games, mostly because we didn't have a Dreamcast, but I wouldn't mind getting into the franchise, it sounds pretty good, and with a third one on it's away I've got an excuse to get it done sooner.

Also very excited for Dishonored 2, I'm a huge sucker for "the next generation" types of stories where characters that were children in the previous game are grown up now and are the focus of the story. I can't wait.

I wish I could have them all now.

Guys, Iwata's a puppet.

It's too early for this lol.

EDIT 1: Star Fox Zero confirmed for Wii U.
EDIT 2: Reggie says theme for Nintendo's E3 is 'Transformation'. Says NX will be talked about in 2016.
EDIT 3: You expected Metroid Wii U, but it was me, weird sports Metroid for 3DS!, Also, Fire Emblem and FE by Atlus. The new Atlus game is interesting...
EDIT 4: New Mario/Luigi RPG also featuring Paper Mario. New Mario Tennis too. Paper Mario looks great.

Thanks to @Dodge2461 for hitting the highlights. here are my ramblings...

Starts with puppet version of Iwata, Fil-Aime, and Miyamoto. Might be some of the most disturbing puppets since Spitting Image's "Land of Confusion" video for Genesis.

Nintendo muppets contract the furry virus. It's all over folks.

Star Fox is announced. Titled Star Fox Zero. It... -looks like a Star Fox game.
-Arwing now transforms into a Walker a la Star Fox 2.
-Landmaster is back, also introducing some gyrocopter. Courses can be replayed with different vehicles.
-Not a sequel, nor is it a remake.... okay...

Story time with Miyamoto. He explains how the Inari Shrine in Japan and the TV show Thunderbirds inspired Star Fox.

Reggie says "Transformation" is Nintendo's theme. No new news on the NX until 2016, kiddies.

More Amiibo announced. Chris to go further into debt.

DK and Bowser making a special guest appearance in Skylanders. Man, I bet y'all are hyped.

Expect dancing puppets to be new Nintendo meme for the week.

Zelda, Triforce Heroes announced. Looks like Four Swords... except just three swords (no purple link ), combined with the latest Link Between Worlds gameplay style.
-Has a "fashion" element. Think Super Mario costumes made in a LoZ game.

Hyrule Warriors 3DS to be the Superior Hyrule Warriors with a playable Tetra and King of the Red Lions. All DLC characters are included.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force announced. Looks like a chibi-fied four player Metroid game.

Fire Emblem Fates. Looks awesome.

More footage for the Fire Emblem/ Persona mashup. Japanese dub so I have no damn clue what is going on, but I hope it has a US release.

Xenoblades Chronicles confirmed for a December release. Get hype.

NEW ANIMAL CROSSING GAME is September. Now you can go all OCD for your yard and ceiling fixtures.

Animal Crossing + Mario Party? Wat.

More footage for Yoshi's Wooly World. More talk about Amiibos.Yoshi has a kinda Kirby power in that depending on what Amiibo you use, they can take on their power.

Yokai Watch localized. Expect Chris to start combining his Sonichus with Yokai powers next.... or whine how Yokai is stealing Pokemons popularity of something.

Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi RPG games on the 3DS games are combining into one game, "Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam."

New Mario Tennis. Mmkay.

More info on Mario Maker. Kind of a cool hearing about the backstory of the games. Will be amiibo compatible (throw on a Wii Fit Trainer amiibo, Mario can become an 8-bit Wii Fit Trainer).

And now a musical number for Mario's 30th.

LetsSuperMario.com - send in your own Mario videos. Bob Chipman and Dobson is already there as I type this.

Annnd onto Square-Enix.

Overall: Nintendo was alright. Sony just had more bombs. Anyway, Square Enix: Probably Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider(they still publish that right?), and Hitman(again, they publish that still, right)?

Yup, they still publish Hitman and Tomb Raider. Also Sleeping Dogs so if they announce a proper sequel (read: not digital) I will be stoked.

1. Pre-show: Trivia about Square Enix games. Some are actual trivia(How Moogle was constructed), and some are just plain weird(acknowledging you can turn on commentary in Deus Ex: Director's Cut)
2. First game shown is Just Cause 3. Looks insane as ever.
3. CEO comes out. Talks about how they're not fucking up as much.
4. Just Cause 3 shown. Releasing Dec. 1. The voiceover in the trailer is doing a great job of making the game sound incredibly boring.
5. Trailer for new Nier game shown. Had something to do, so I missed most of it. Director came out in mask(his face and it's secrecy is a running gag with him):
Nier Director.png

Currently, best part of Squeenix conference.
6. Rise of the Tomb Raider. Talk about how great their version of Laura is.
7. Mobile. Meh.
8. A.. Sizzle reel of their already announced games.
9. Kingdom Hearts producer comes out. No one is translating what he's saying, so I don't know what's going on.
10. Final Fantasy 7 remake trailer shown. Why bring out the KH3 producer to talk about a game he isn't involved in?
11. More details on 7 to be revealed soon.
12. Original 7 to be released in Winter. 7 to be released on iOS in Summer.
13. Let's talk Kingdom Hearts!*Audience applauses louder than they have for this conference* They show a mobile game. Everyone's quiet.
14. Now they show video message from Disney producers. Tangled world confirmed.
15. They're dragging this out as far as possible
16. Finally they show footage of Kingdom Hearts 3.Looks nice and fluid.
17. Someone screams "Thank You!!!!" Producer bows.
18. Producer also Producer of World of Final Fantasy. Show same trailer.
19. Director of World of FF comes out. Talks about aims for the game.
20. Hitman is talked about. Trailer shown. Voiceover sounds bored, but not as bad as Just Cause 3. Releasing December 8.
21. Sizzle reel of Sleeping Dogs and Final Fantasy 15 footage.
22. Star Ocean announced. Producer comes out. Gameplay shown. Shipping out to the US in 2016.
23. Deus Ex Creative writer and Eidos president come out. In-Game Trailer shown.
24. President announces Final Fantasy Portal App. Literally no one claps. Also announces Tokyo RPG, to release in 2016.
25. Closing words.

Nintendo was okay. Personally I wish they showed us a more specific release date for Fire Emblem Fates, but oh well.

And Blast Ball is a Metroid game? Are you kidding me?

Annnd Square-Enix had presented. Thanks again to Dodge for keeping notes as well. And now some of my useless observations...

Square-Enix stage is a lot smaller than the other stages we've seen all E3. Has a podium and everything... Square-Enix CEO is looking really nervous. Doing that weird "CEO hand mannerism" with every third word.

Just Cause 3 launches December 1.
-Gameplay footage shows Rico driving a car out of a moving plane just to drop said car into a building.
-Updated grappling hooks which includes MULTIPLE GRAPPLES WITHOUT A MOD.
-Parachute also updated as well, can dual wield weapons.
-Wingsuit looking boss.
-UNLIMITED C4?!?!
Looks like everything that made me love JC2.

New title announced- FROM PLATINUM GAMES....
NIER IS BACK!!!
HOLY FUCKING SHIT NIER IS BACK!!!
...but said it's only for PS4.... FUCK.
Production developer shows up with a badass Nier mask. Well, now the conference just got interesting.

Tomb Raider footage... same footage from the Xbox conference..
The go behind the scenes a bit to show off the character model work.
"We're putting the Tombs back Into Tomb Raider!"

Mobile discussion, showing off new mobile game- this one Lara Croft in classic Tomb Raider attire. Turn-based like Hitman Go.

Now a sizzle reel with FF14, Life is Strange, DQ:Heroes.

Re-showing the FF7 remake trailer. Translator is apparently asleep at the wheel. Just "announcing it."

FF7 port is delayed until Winter
Will show up on iOS this summer

Kingdom Hearts time. Some spergs in the crowd are losing their shit. I have no affinity for the KH series so I'll let the fans on the forums explain whatever the heck is going on.

HITMAN TIME!!!
DECEMBER 8 DIGITAL RELEASE!! (Okay, I'm a little LOT excited...)
Will be contract based, some available only for a limited time. Will not have an Absolution-styled overarching plotline.
Also just want to say Young Agent 47 is really rocking the Timothy Olyphant look from the movie a few years ago.

New Star Ocean game! And once again, looks like it is a PS4-only game. Again.

DEUS EX: Mankind Divided.
-Two years after Human Evolution.
-Augmented individuals are societal outcasts
-Jensen with Interpol... and acting as a double agent trying find the Illuminati.
-New in-game trailer. Game is looking GORGEOUS.
-"Early 2016" release date

New RPG Project from "Tokyo RPG Factory" new outfit made by Square-Enix. Showing some concept art for a new IP called Project SETSUNA.

Really hope next year Square Enix gets an actual host. It's nice that the developers and game producers come out and say hello - they even make a cool curtain call at the end- but all the same, the show suffered from nearly all of the host obviously reading off of a teleprompter. Get some one that can work better on camera, folks.

In other news: Shenmue 3 is now on $2.6 million, having smashed the goal within 12 hours. It just goes to show how badly everyone wants that game.

About time The Last Guardian gets an announcement.

I'll keep my expectations kinda in the middle though. Don't want to get too hyped for it, but hey, it could still be good.

I kept up with the news so I post my thoughts on the games that got my eye. The first two will be in spoilers because I will freak out in 3. 2. 1.
Xenoblade X is coming out this year! Awesome, I knew you wouldn't let me down Nintendo! The second from the Square side. OH MY FUCKING GOD! NIER 2! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY WORKING ON A SEQUEL!

Other games:
Metroid: I'm not sure what to think about it. I need more time to think it over.
Yo-kai Watch: I be willing to pick this up at launch. Level-5 been doing good lately with its games. I'm calling it now that the fanbase is going to be very questionable, just like the others.
Star Fox Zero: It looks really promising, I hope it does well sales-wise when it comes out.
Kingdom Hearts 3: From that gameplay footage, looks fun. I hope the worlds are better because the ones in Dream Drop Distance are garbage.
Fire Emblem Fates: I really hope they fix the balance issues from Awakening since its rather easy to break the game.
