i have some fearmiun because strenumon can possibly do the exact same mistakes as drinkbox and hotpoo which is not getting why the first game was a hit and fuck up royally on the sequel by ignoring said things, either from a desire of "not wanting to do the same thing again" or because of plain and simple retardation.
it's very much safe to say that E.Y.E 2 should be as fucky as E.Y.E 1 but with expansions to the augments and lore and they might fuck up precisely of that since they might shift focus to le seriousness bullshit they may have been infected from necromunda.

I never thought EYE was that good, it has charm for its jank but make no mistake it is jank. The stats don't do much after a few levels of investment, theres like 5 weapons in the whole game that have stat requirements and 2 of them you wont be able to buy in a single playthrough without grinding. The poor translation makes achieving the different endings without a guide nearly impossible. The temple final stage is such a massive difficulty spike, its a long hallway of insanely tanky enemies with miniguns and the builds are so poorly balanced that if you had a melee or psi build up to this point or anything light you may as well just go heavy armor with a minigun because again, your build doesnt matter and itll just mow everything down.

I've never seen a game with so many worthless poorly thought out systems. And to top it all off its on source so these are just metro cop reskins with their health cranked up to a million.
