Ohhh it's so much fun! Up there with Dragon Quest VI and Dragon Quest V.

10k gold, but absolutely worth it. Especially since it's actually pretty good armor (for now, at least).

Also, I've changed my mind about the English voice acting. Sylvando more than makes up for all of the British accents.

I think she had the first damage all spell which made her feel really good.

I just remember finding Eric worthless.

Erik's pretty weak at first but he can deal ridiculous amounts of damage later on if you give him the right perks and equipment.

Give Erik a boomerang in the early game so he can smack down big groups of weak enemies and help you get through those faster.

To go off of what @Metamorpho was saying, Erik is your metal slime farmer and he can save your entire party with some of his dagger abilities which will end fights in one turn.

See that's something I never liked about JRPGs. I can't stand it when they make a character that sucks unless you make him JUST RIGHT.

His sword abilities are really good; but he's outclassed by the others and never made it into my final party.

On the plus side, you can easily respec a character's skill points, so it's better than it could be.

Serenais by far the best character in the game but only for that one section when she is able to use every spell.
