but it was a colossal waste of time
Daima as a series feels like it would really only work if everyone was actually heavily restricted in how strong they actually were and taking away Super Saiyan, rather than Super Saiyan Vegeta getting his shit rocked by a fucking octopus. It just looks stupid.
Something like a return to OG DB would've been neat but it fumbles it by trying to be everything.
Also Gohan just fucking ceased to be in Daima.

I'm not the biggest fan of Bruce Falconeer's score, but to be fair, I prefer What's my destiny Dragon ball over Cha-La Head-Cha-La so who am I to judge?
I think it has valid criticisms like track placement and some sounding like ass, but when it needs to be 11/10(SSJ3 Goku, SSJ2 Gohan, SSJ Vegeta, Super Buu, Perfect Cell) it succeeds.

Opening for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was leaked.

And the start of the episode opens with Goku doing image training where he fights the Z villains, which is from the manga. There's also scenes from the Battle of Gods movie too. That's all there's to talk about regarding the first episode.

That and I guess it's animated well.

So the first episode aried and its already closer to the manga. Think its any hope it will be good?
I couldn't really tell what the difference is. I haven't seen Super since it first aired, though.
They can't have changed much because it has the same voice cast, including a couple guys that died years ago. (Joji Yanami and Unsho Ishizuka.) I kind of wish they had re-recorded Kaio's lines with someone else because the man had one foot in the grave when he recorded these episodes and you can tell.

Last day I mentioned how I prefer "What's my destiny" over "Cha-la Head Cha-la" and makes me wonder, what's your guys take about the italian openings for dragon ball?
I know its a retarded and niche question, but it kinda surprised me to know that there's very few cases outside of Italy where whole anime openings gets completely re-made from scratch.
And really I'm curious to know how the one we got actually stands against the originals from the perspective of someone that DIDN'T had them trough their childhood.
I guess its the same of an american person asking to a non-english speaker their opinion about the Bruce Faulconer score...
