As much as I want them to introduce OG DB XV content, it would be a bit difficult to pull off without it being extremely weird.
Gokus power level didn't even scrape triple digits until near the end of the series. Nor could he fire ki blasts like crazy.
Unless they're gonna introduce your CAC as a fucking retard that can't even fly or control ki it wouldn't work to have him in the OG DB, because he'd just stomp on everyone.
I mean King Piccolo was this world ending threat in the context of DB, but the cannon fodder Frieza soldiers on Namek would unironically stomp him even at his peak.
It's just an unfortunate consequence of how DB as a whole was written.

We already that with QQ bangs. Sure you had to use clothes to make them, but still. This is a better system in general though. I'll never understand why they tried tying stats to outfit. It's like the nips are forever struggling with the concept of "fashion over function". Most players will always prefer looking cool over squeezing another 2.37% damage from dressing like a faggot. Especially in games that already have character stats you level.
The fighting styles is one of the best things they could have done, but I really don't like how the Whis example just has the staff pop in & out of existence. Even just a little effect around it to make it look likes it being summoned magically would be nice. Better still if for something like a Trunks moveset you had to have the sword equipped as an item/accessory to use it.
At the very least, if you already have an equipped weapon accessory, the sword/staff should be replaced with it. I want Trunks' moveset with Janemba's sword, or Whis' with the power pole, I don't care if it looks janky.
I do wonder how they'll deal with fighting styles that incorporate different body parts (Tails/Stretchy Arms). Will they just restrict them outright, or make a small variation like they did for Namekian and Majin special moves back in 2?
Dead game Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra was doing so terribly under Toshi "Passionate Destroyer of Projects" (much like what I heard about Dokkan and Legends) that for it's first anniversary they removed him from his role as producer (?), completely gutted what was essentially his child right in front of him and told him to cover the gutting live. Look at this man, this is the fact of a man who had his passion project murdered in front of him. His voice was cracking and he looked on the verge of crying the entire stream. Damn, even I feel bad.
Gekishin fans are largely upset by this turn of events due to it not even being the same game anymore, meanwhile other Dragon Ball mobile game fans are essentially going "first time?" and laughing at Toshi considering everything he touches nearly dies. Now they're turning it into Bandai's other mobile game "One Piece Bounty Rush" with DB characters lol.
Supposedly one of the main reasons for the overhaul was because apparently the game was "too complex with too much strategic depth" for the main audience of Dragon Ball (room temperature IQ Mexicans), which is hilarious given that the game is incredibly easy by MOBA standards (if incredibly unbalanced). But this is DB we're talking about, we've all seen the main audience of DB games and they're barely sapient.
Completely unsurprising, they refused to fix issues the game had for the entirety of the game's life cycle, doubled down on broken characters being broken, gave almost zero incentive for new players (or returning) to jump back in, it was a buggy vibe coded mess, and quite literally everything they could have done to make the game worse they did as soon as possible. Why this guy is still allowed to direct anything is beyond me but hey, maybe they can make a half decent game this time around.

Hell the gacha system for cosmetics was a heavy factor in what killed Squadra. I don't think a skill gacha system would kill XV3 but it would definitely be a noticeable impact to the player count in the long term. It could also be a part of a specific gamemode like Ultra Time Patrol Battle from the last DLC but even more "roguelike." Doubt it, probably just rerolling the chance of getting a skill knowing Bandai "antagonize our fans at all costs" Namco.
The animation itself is pretty good, but I still say it is a waste of resources, effort, and time that could have been better spent at anything else. People easily could rewatch the Battle of Gods movie if they wanna see the animation being done well.
And even though the title is about the fan animation, the animation itself lasted for around 3-4 minutes. The rest of the video is Mark rambling about how great the animation he is putting out is, why the 5th episode made him feel like his dog got brutally bludgeoned to death, and why we need the remake so bad.
