I don't remember the green hair, but in DB chapter 1 it was definitely the same shade of blue that the anime ended up using. Although I think it went purple very early on.

Because Toriyama. The funny part is that he wanted to change kid Trunks to blue too, and Toei said no for some reason, but then said yes for future Trunks getting blue'd.
Because anime. The funny part is that Trunks and Bulma should have the same hair color, but the anime inaverdently fucked it up, so Trunks ended up with a muted purple hair color in Z, full purple in GT and Bulma became full purple in DB movie 4.
So having finally matched their colors after 20 years, Toriyama decided to change Bulma to blue for Super.
The cover on the shonen jump DB debuted in had her with blue hair, then it changed to purple by the next chapter and Toriyama kept the purple color for nearly 30 years until BoG, where he for no reason at all swapped back to the same blue that was on the first shonen jump cover.
Iirc, teal only showed up in a few reprinted covers and the first 2 chapters of the full color edition of the manga. Any other colors were just off palette colorings of pages, like the ones with red&grey palette where Bulma has grey hair.
Toriyama is not a senile retard, and he stuck to the purple color up until BoG. The change in color was deliberate, but fuck if anyone knows why he decided it was time to change it. He was either trolling or genuinely liked the blue color better. Maybe he binge watched Smurfs.
There's no in universe reason. Don't remember if they ever made a 4th wall breaking joke/reference about it either.
You're probably thinking of the full color version of the manga made around 2010, where she had teal hair for 2 chapters.

No, bit he is amusingly forgetful of his work, forgetting Launch and initially calling the third Super Saiyan form Super Saiyan 2 cause he forgot he already did a second form.

"Forgetting Launch" is a rather big misrepresenation, because when people say that, they think she disappeared because Toriyamo literally forgot about her. It's not the case, she was written out.
Where the "he forgot" part was added iirc was a Q&A thing where he said that he forgot she existed after she was already written out, but then he remembered her during Buu when he was doing the mini montage of former characters, and he thought about having her there too. But then she got bumped in favor of 17.
The SSJ2 and 3 thing is also a misrepresentation of what he said, because that was from an interview from around when BoG came out and he was talking about the super saiyan designs. For a second he thought that the SSJ3 design was the design for SSJ2, and then he corrected himself.
Somehow, that morhped into him forgetting SSJ2 while he was making the manga itself. You can see how a lot of the "Toriyama forgot" shit is blown out of proportion to make him look like a retard.

The manga set I have is from Japan. It mostly black and white, but the original Jump color pages are retained. It also has a different ending where Goku gives Oob the Kintoun. I wish Dagonball Kai had animated that ending, but they were too cheap.
I have a Dr. Slump manga set like that too. I heard they censored some politically incorrect stuff, but I'm not sure exactly what it was. I only heard something about Popo-esque "darkie" face replaced with a cat one.

Double checked it, your set would the kanzenban rerelease, which has all the original color pages in it. I completely forgot that the cover and the the first 6 pages of or so had bulma with teal hair, I only remembered the red&gray partial color.
So yes, she did actually have teal hair at first, before it got changed to purple starting in chapter 3.
I mean, the ending change was always kinda pointless and added nothing. Just made the passing of the torch even more unsubtle. The difference in art is is the most notable thing, in that it looks weird af.

Yeah, but that kind of sums up DB Kai in general. It's weird because initially Kai was reanimating and changing stuff like crazy. But by they got to Buu, they must have run out of money. Although I do remember one really odd/out of place sequence they did where Buu turned everyone into food and ate them.

I've noticed that the people who screech the largest about power levels are vegeta simps, and I rationalize that as their attempt at justifying their fixation for a character whose only purpose is to orbit Goku and make him look cooler. Speaking more broadly about power levels in general and tying in to what you've said about the author of any work deciding who wins, its sad as hell that the community keeps clinging to the numbers listed in that daizenshou book like its a life raft. For those not autistic enough to care, that book listed all the big numbers you see floating around like 150 million, 50x ss1 multipliers, and so forth. This is retarded since the books are nearly 30 years out of date and toriyama stated the first super saiyan form is just 10x: all those videos made by miscellaneous shitskins are assumptions based on assumptions based on veto'd info and yet these retards eat it up like candy.
As for Gohan being the strongest, that's been the case since he was a kid and I have no idea why this is surprising to anyone. Hell ss2 didn't even exist as a distinct form at first, it was just the lad's latent power manifesting, and after that he only needed an afternoon of training with Piccolo to get on even footing with Goku.

when I was in middle school (probably around 2008/9) I desperately wished those books had gotten translated releases, and now I'm glad they didn't because no normie would randomly have gotten it to throw those numbers out. I don't watch DB youtubers or exist in any online fanzone for it (at least the last decade) but I can only imagine the pure autism that comes out of that shit. the gohan thing was a point of contention for me in many schoolyard arguments. and I love Vegeta but you're 100% right about Piccolo haters being all in on hating because they're obsessed with him and just want him to be the protagonist because he's edgy Goku. lmfao. although I hate the animation of this new movie so far it looks like the only non video game Dragon Ball thing i'm going to have liked since the remake of the Plan to Eradicate the Sayians OVA from when I was like 14. I thought the Broly movie was okay it was better than anything from Battle of the Gods until then, but I'm really hoping I end up enjoying this movie because it sucks to feel like the only person who absolutely hates where my favorite franchise has gone.

Calling it now, Gohan fans will start celebrating then get cucked again because Toriyama will end up writing Goku in as a deity level figure (like as an actual Kai/destroyer/angel type role) to preserve his legacy and keep him from getting surpassed after Toriyama bites it eventually

you are most likely right but fuck it I have been conditioned to know Gohan will never get the front seat and I'll take whatever I can get. I hate modern DB so much that at this point, I just watch it with no real stake in it and all I really want are a few good Gohan/Piccolo character moments and maybe a cool fight with them. That's all I need to be happy, and it looks like I'll get that with horrible animation but it's better than nothing

Boy oh boy, Gohan fans have been well-fed for the past few weeks! The third and final trailer's out, although it's kinda weird to split up the previews. The animation, while still a bit janky in parts, looks A LOT better cleaned up!
Goten and Trunks also look like they're actually going to participate in the final fight! WOO! Fingers crossed it won't rely on a fusion.
K18 and Buu fans are covered, too! Bulma looks like she's been squatting (or using the balls, knowing her), much to the pleasure of porn artists everywhere.

Some wishful thinking: The chances are slim (at least from what we know), but I'd LOVE to see a father-daugher Kamehameha with Gohan and Pan.

Cautiously optimistic and I'm prepared for that to happen, but it's been confirmed that Goku and Vegeta are off-Earth for the whole movie (unless they do a last-minute asspull like you described); the little promotional material that's been put out doesn't seem to have much focus on them. Chances are he actually learns from his reality checks from RoF and ToP given his training time with Piccolo.

Everyone has something bad to say about Super as a whole, its an interesting way to learn about a person's priorities in their entertainment when you think about it. I don't have a source for this, but I've heard that Japanese kids don't particularly care for dragon ball because it isn't the team work show they've become accustomed to with BNA. I give this notion some credibility as the whole point of the tournament of power was to give screen time to everyone, and because Heroes is nothing but team battles at this point. I guess even bamco knows that the pesos won't rain in forever and that they'll need to adapt to the times.
Gohan has become the strongest and then lost the title by slacking off four times counting this movie, it will absolutely happen again in the future because Toriyama can only develop new material when Torishima beats him.
Gohan and Pan doing something seems like a safe bet, and I'll be shocked if Pan doesn't end up save the day. She's Arale but one degree more serious, and the law of humor alone means she should be obscenely overpowered. I don't know how the writers will keep goku and vegeta out of the plot, that can be anything from Gohan maning up and wanting to hadle the situation himself to goku's fight autism preventing him from thinking about anything else while Broly is in front of him.
I naively hope that Piccolo's unlocked potential is sold well to the audience, for the sole purpose of triggering power level autists and giving him a Xenoverse 2 transformation. The same goes for Gotenks to a lesser extent. The screenshot with ss Gohan looks like a team battle, so hopefully its all three androids at once for the finale instead of another Goddamn vorephile mutant.

Oh my fucking God, I'm sick and tired of these movies having to be split into parts just because fans will suckle Toei's teat and give them their money despite always clamoring how they treat their franchises like shit. This is why Toei keeps doing this, because they know they'll get away with it due to battered wife syndrome.

Vegeta even said so in DBS (technically he didn't say he's the strongest, but that he has the most potential).
Based on how much DBS relies on throwbacks, I'd be surprised if that DIDN'T happen, but I want to see it too, maybe with Goten jumping in as a Broly: Second Coming type of deal similar to how Trunks helped out.

If the movie is going to be split into parts then why not bring the anime series back? When I watch a movie I don't want to have watch it in parts like a T.V series.

I'm just not watching it. I watched Broly and loved it but Toyotaro has shown he is unable to bring something really fresh and new to the table and this movie shows Toriyama has no fucks left to give too. I am more interested in the Heroes shit because at least it's so ridiculous and stupid it still has some fun and wonder to it.
